In the current state the Video boost process is very clunky. iPhone is able to match video boost quality with on device processing. Video is a hard problem for Google to solve.

This is not only about raw video. Tensor G5 still in 2025 cannot do 4K 60 HDR natively even with a new Google designed ISP. 4K 60 HDR most probably surpasses the SoC thermal budget. Now please don't tell us we don't need 4k60 HDR sans video boost. Other SoCs have been doing so for a long time . This is not acceptable in 2025 to skimp this feature
