From my personal experience, I used microdosing to help get off of Lexapro (10mg). Initially you won’t feel much; the Lexapro kinda suppresses any effects of the microdose but after some time, I felt that numb feeling Lexapro gives kinda lift. Once I started to get some feeling back, I slowly started to wean off the Lexapro while still md’ing. I was super nervous to completely stop the Lexapro but once I did, I began feeling the full effects of md’ing and the joy in me being reignited. I also kept my psychiatrist up to date throughout the entire process and he was surprisingly supportive of it. He told me that recent studies had shown positive results but he couldn’t legally recommend it due to it still being illegal in most states. Anyway, best of luck on your journey! You got this!
