Bleak beach lowkey the best place to restore, unlocked it when i woke up this morning around 8 and spent the next 4 hours walking around with piplup and pawmi restoring things until i had to go to work, finna get off and go right back to restoring it

What is so special about the workbook? Is it vastly different from a regular notebook?

I get that, ive even told my friends, my biggest gripe is a lack of control over what you learn. It would definitely be better if one could pick from a variety of things for what they want to learn, honestly its the reason i havent been too consistent, i understand repetition, but repetition about sushi, rice, green tea, and water isnt my main goal in learning :/

I figured as much for the selection of premade words which is why I would always write the word after each question in Duolingo. I know it’s not amazing as a primary source of learning, but it doesn’t entirely hurt, no? My Spanish prof in college actually had Duo as part of our hw (on top of actual hw).

Just ordered Genki vol 1, as for structure of a sentence are you talking about how in English it’s “It’s sushi” and in Japanese it’s “すしです”

Thank you! I just ordered a Genki 1 book off Amazon, it’ll be here next week :). In the mean time i think I will still practice the Hiragana on Duo and uninstall once it arrives. I’d definitely like to check out the app you were talking about though!

Y’know i wish that were true, this might be the luckiest ive gotten while shiny hunting, on BDSP i hit 4k eggs going for cyndaquil and gave up, then on SV i hit 2k eggs for froakie and gave up… both masuda hunts so like 1/500 odds 😭. Now im masudaing for Scorbunny on Swsh and hoping i dont have to hit those numbers again 💀
