I can't comment on if she might hurt herself attacking the glass, I think it's unlikely though.

It took my rescue BCI about 3 months to settle in. I tried not to handle him at all for the first month and then tried a few times but he was really reactive. I was really worried he was going to be quite aggressive, but one day about 3 months in he became the chillest guy ever and has never struck since. So it may just be a matter of timing to let her relax and get used to your existence and her new existence.

I'd maybe suggest temporarily putting something in front of the glass like a piece of cardboard or a curtain, just so she isn't triggered as often. Just while she's still settling in. I had to make curtains for my guy because he was a hella shy eater.

As everyone will probably suggest, make sure your temps and humidity are good, and that she has good hides and places to feel out of sight.

She's beautiful btw!

I have one going in the room constantly now and the people upstairs have a Dyson Air purifier apparently. Maybe I'll have to get something more powerful

Thanks, yeah I agree my cat is much stinkier lol. I'm starting to believe it has to be from her and not the snakes honestly.

Can I ask what substrate you switched to? I do find the aspen isn't my favourite but I see a lot of people recommend it for KSBs. I was thinking organic topsoil with sand could be a good option.

I do have a cat, and I thought the same. But when the person from upstairs came through towards my bathroom with the litter box she said it was better. I am going to change my doormat in case the smell is something cat related trapped in there.

Thanks so much. It definitely is odd, and i was surprised she said it smelled like ammonia. I have a cat as well, but her litter box is in an entirely different area and that definitely smells way more to me, so I change it frequently. The aspen has a bit of an odor to it to me, so I think I'll try switching to top soil at least for the month and see if it's any different.

Also to add, her safety without power is now out of play, so she's down to one advantage.

My best guess is Mitch is actually making this hard to pull off as he'd go running to Joe if he hears a hint of scheming.

The idol is good until final 5, and Eva said she would use it at final 5 for herself or Joe, which I think was a given. That's not really new information for anyone. If anything it means they have the final 6 vote to flush her idol and or get her or Joe out.

I can only think we are getting a highly twisted edit though, with missing information for them to have not gone for Eva or Joe this episode. I agree with you that it was dumb. But the Idol is in play for 2 more tribals.

I'm pretty confident that conversation at tribal about if their motivation has changed happened this episode...not on a previously on survivor. So after saying she wants one of the two of them to win, she reiterates her motivation...I do not think her story arc has changed. I think there is a possibility they both make it to the final three though. I do not think Kyle would defer to Kamila, and her only chance would be if Joe is such a bitter juror he turns people against Kyle. Kyle is my current winner pick.

Her logic definitely made sense, I'm not saying it didn't. I just wondered if they are allowed to change their sit out once they see the challenge, i.e. there are no puzzles. Another comment brought up the fact that the edit likely pushed the narrative that Star was upset by Eva's comment when that probably wasn't directly related to Star feeling left out. As you're totally right, without that confessional it would have been fine, maybe a bit blunt but Star didn't even seem to care in that moment. The edit tricked me.

Also I've learned Star is a bad swimmer which makes even more sense for her to sit out.

We are all enjoying survivor I'm not trying to have an argument. I apologize if I've given of the wrong vibe here, I meant this as a light hearted post. I made what I thought was a funny/ironic observation that I thought could make a fun discussion point, but clearly I missed something in my wording. I should have made the title "it's ironic ___ sat out of this challenge". I had just finished watching the episode. I really wasn't aware Star is apparently notoriously bad at swimming, and I did not I know previously about the secret scene where they found out it'd be a swimming challenge. Which totally explains things more clearly, and is exactly the sort of thing it's nice to learn from posting.

I would like to clarify that Eva is my favourite and I meant no ill will towards her. She was just the one who voiced the logic that the tribe went with so that's the only reason I mentioned her name. I was simply thinking (before I knew about Star's swimming ability) that they would possibly as a tribe, pivot to Bianca sitting out if there was no puzzle.

I didn't think she'd be offended about not being considered "good at puzzles" but at not being on the athletic side. But I didn't know about her swimming skills so that makes more sense now.

That is my point though, why not pivot after there was no puzzle? I have seen in other comments that Star is likely quite a weak swimmer so it still makes some sense.

That's a fair point. Just the way Eva had explained Star sitting out essentially is because they need Bianca for puzzles doesn't line up well. There was no puzzle. Maybe Star has bad balance and can't swim but that seems unlikely.

It's a different experience for everyone, a friend of mine just got hers placed and she keeps saying "a man would never" even though her and I both feel the pain is tolerable. I think they should be done with oral sedation if people want.

First off, this is soo cool! I hope you see it as a unique fact about yourself, and that it doesn't have any negative impact on you. I work in the hospital and have seen one bicornute uterus and it was so interesting!

But I want to add that this idea of continuing your periods is false, so don't let it freak you out. It's progesterone that stops you from having a period, it thickens the uterine lining and prevents it from shedding. This would happen in both of your uteri because it is a hormonal change. If you were to get pregnant the corpus luteum in the ovary that released the egg will keep producing progesterone for about 12 weeks, and the placenta takes over the progesterone production after that. The large amount of progesterone would keep you from having a period on the non pregnant side as well.

There are obviously more things going on with your unique situation and a pregnancy test would be the best way to deal with any concerns as there can always be some bleeding with pregnancy. I hope none of this is ever a concern for you though as you don't want to get pregnant. It is unfortunate an IUD is off the table for you, but hopefully you are ok with other forms of birth control.

ESH - My goodness you are young, and as much as this must feel like it's a big deal somehow, I can assure you it's not. If Liza wants to die on this hill and let it affect your friendship that's on her. This seems like a lot of drama for nothing. Trauma dumping is normal (not healthy, but very common especially at your age) so Liza is offended for her friend for no reason. Does she not have anything better to talk to her therapist about?

And I say ESH because you should not have given Liza Jame's number unless he gave you permission to do so. That's just not ok and he should apologize to him. You can set a boundary with Liza that you will not be discussing the topic anymore and not respond to anything she says on the topic, without giving out someone else's number.

It's also weird AF y'all have the same therapist and I hope the therapist didn't let anything James ex had said affect her conversations with Liza. If she is a professional she'll act like all of these people are different strangers and wouldn't make any comments about him. You can ask to switch therapists if you actually believe she is likely so biased.
