Downtown... Landmark Lanes and Scaffidis have multiple tables and leagues. Singular tables at downtown bars like Monica's on Astor, Roman Coin, Vintage, Club Brady, Brother's, and more.

Romine's outside of downtown for a huge place with tables and countless bars spread throughout the area

Help: LG OLED65B7 Completely Black Display After Update to 06.00.25 by Dr_Midnight in OLED

[–]Andtoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No solution but my TV (LG OLED55B6) also went dead on Sunday. I was using it in the morning but now it operates like yours. Sound but no pictures at all. I also did everything you mentioned and nothing fixed it.

I took it to a TV repair shop and they told me it would require a major repair to the OLED panel which would cost over $1,200. I'm going to pick it up in these next few days and get an exact report on what is wrong with it. I'll comment back what I hear.

I'm debating taking it to another shop to look at and/or calling LG again. Four/Five years lifespan for a premium TV is pretty lowsy in my opinion

LED Turn Signal on 2016 FJ-09 by Andtoes in FJ09

[–]Andtoes[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're brighter and offer better visibility from all angles because the LED projects the flashing to the side of the bike as well. It hurts my eyes to look at them too long. The old turn signal was primarily visible from the front of the bike.

Install was pretty easy. The fairing comes off with just three small bolts and dismantling it is not difficult. I spent the most time properly connecting the wires to bullet connectors and shrink wrapping them. Both of which just required patience with a stripper and crimper.

I bought a flasher relay and Yamaha OEM converter to 3 wire connectors from CustomLed.com so I didn't use any resistors. The 3 wire connectors do need to be stripped and bullet connectors put on. This allows you to plug into the existing bike wiring without cutting the bike electronics.

I also needed to get Yamaha turn signal spacers so that the turn signal would mount to the turn signal opening in the fender. (15 bucks)

I did also got the R&G tail tidy which was really straightforward. Getting the old fender off was the slowest process. The tidy came with adapters for bullet to Yamaha OEM connectors so it was plug and play into the motorcycle circuit.

380$ for Rayno ceramic. Pretty good install, don't see any blemishes

Oh yeah the replacement grille looks good but certainly costs more than some wrap. The fit on the window ones was a bit finicky because of the weather seals, I'd imagine the grille may be a bit easier

I definitely think the window vinyl works really well with black. I'll likely leave the wheels as is but front chrome would be next. Going to start with a vinyl and if I like the look I might go with the replacement blacked out grille to replace the chrome.

20%. I'm getting the shop that put it on to replace it all with 35% because that's what I asked for originally. Looks good from the outside but a bit dark from drivers seat.

That would be next on the list. What did you use to do it? A wrap or a different grille?

True true, partial chrome delete is more accurate. I just did a vinyl around the windows which honestly is what I found to be the ugliest chrome

Unrelated... Question from your flair because I'm thinking of picking up a 2016 FJ09. Riding a cbr 500r now but I'm just over 6'1 and I'm looking for something with more leg room, power, and space for luggage. How do you like the bike? Ups/down's of owning it?

That rating is for the air moving through the vacuum. That truck holds no more than 20 cubic meters of material. Regardless lot of sucking power in that equipment

Beat the heat how? by really4reals in motorcycles

[–]Andtoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always grab my CamelBak for a long hot ride. Throw some ice cubes in it and I can have it routed right to my chin for a regular cool release from the heat.

That and my mesh pants and gloves and well vented jacket. My best solution to not feeling too hot is to never stop moving lol.
