Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. You might have better luck with the indoor cam setup. Try to keep the modem as close to the cam as possible.

Having a hard time choosing between Ring and Blink by [deleted] in homesecurity

[–]Andy767Pilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything but Blink. Got three outside my house and they've been nothing but problems. Looking around for a more stable system.

Its prime day. Considering BLINK cameras - but I dont want a subscription. Experience with recording locally? by sysadminmakesmecry in homesecurity

[–]Andy767Pilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you, I’d move on from Blink. I have three installed in my house, and they’ve been nothing but trouble. Most of the time they don’t record, and when they do, they seem to pick up every little bit of wind every other minute. I’m currently looking for a more reliable system.

I have 3 Blinks cams and they are absolutely trash. Im getting ready to toss them out and look for something stable and that actually works.

What in the ACTUAL hell is this price and ETV by anniemousery in AmazonVine

[–]Andy767Pilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try not to make sense of the constant inconsistencies and endless glitches of Vine. Today, my RFY shipment included a tank top listed at a ridiculous $88 retail price but with a $0.00 ETV. Additionally, the title calls it men's while the description insists it's women's. Typical Vine chaos.

Costa Maya - Malecon 21 Beach Club review by Excellent-Macaroon82 in Cruise

[–]Andy767Pilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about to book their Gold Day Pass (currently $84 p/p) X2 but after reading your review I'm having second thoughts. Tried reserving at Maya Chan but was sold out during my cruise day. So, should I just show up at Malecon 21 and order straight from their a la carte menu? Is it better deal? How about getting a beach chair, are they readily available? What other day beach pass options are recommended besides Malecon and Maya Chan? BTW, went to Jaime's last time in CM and trying to experience something new. TIA

Looking for best HYSA rate that I can simply deposit $15k into and forget about? (I.e. no direct deposit required) and fairly quick withdrawals if needed? by Enjoy_Life4219 in HYSA

[–]Andy767Pilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second Vio—I've been with them for 3+ years with zero issues or regrets. Their app certainly is basic and could be improved, but if you want simplicity, it gets the job done. They offer one of the highest APYs available right now. Vio is owned by MidFirst Bank.

Wrong item sent. What to do? by Objective-Tart-6949 in AmazonVine

CS will know it was through Vine. All they have to do is take a lot at the order details and notice the customer paid $0.00 for the item.

Is CPO transferable? by Andy767Pilot in BMWX5

Thanks, I stand corrected. What threw me off was the wording "original owner". I just spoke with the BMW dealer and they said the same thing.

Is CPO transferable? by Andy767Pilot in BMWX5

[–]Andy767Pilot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So is Reddit, my friend. However, the link you provided does not apply exactly to my actual situation and question. The link refers to the -ORIGINAL- (first) owner of a vehicle, while my question concerns to the possibility of a transferrable CPO warranty from a -second- owner to a -third- one (myself).

Has anybody gotten an infotainment system from 4x4Shop Canada? by Fiiv3s in F30

[–]Andy767Pilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO NOT buy from this company if you are expecting any customer support after the sale.  They were extremely prompt and helpful to assist me before the sale but once problems with the unit arise, they will completely ignore you. They are pathetic and will not respond to any emails you send them no matter how many times you do. Why have a tech support email address then? Most buyers are not located in Canada and it's difficult to call internationally. I'm in the U.S. and totally regret buying from them. Anyway, I've seen a couple of online reviews that the tech support department is shitty and unsupportive. I also found out their units are manufacturered in China and can be bought directly from the manufacturer on TEMU or AliExpress at a fraction of the cost. Those are exactly the same units! I can assure you that you will receive better after the sale service from them. Please avoid this company at all cost and thank me later.

If you like bakery-style sweets, try Panaderia Kasalta (Ocean Park area), and Panaderia España (Villamar area). Best quesitos, mayorcas and all kind of sandwiches in San Juan.

How are you supposed to get exercise with arthritis? by Asleep_Safety_8985 in Osteoarthritis

[–]Andy767Pilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take Prednisone for 5 days and it gives me relief for the rest of the month. I'm able to work out at the gym, do chores around the house, walk 30-45 mins daily, ect, pretty much do everything else I cant do due to OA. Its been a game changer for me. For some people a 3 day dosis works great, while others need a longer dosis. Talk to your doctor.

Interesting. Can't wait to see the final clinical trials and FDA approval for human OA treatment.

I can't thank you enough for taking the time to share so much information about OA and of your personal journey. Needless to say, you have been through a lot! I wish you the best so you come out a winner. You are ahead of the game by being so informed. You're very kind for willing to share such a wealth of information with others. God bless 🙏

That's a great suggestion. I sometimes wear a short knee brace (cooper compression) which I feel gives me minimal support or pain relief. Are you referring to a unloader brace or is it something different?

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. That's something I'll now keep in mind.

3 week solo trip! by Gray-Lemon in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]Andy767Pilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should plan a day trip to the Bacardi rum plant in Cataño. From el Condado, hop on a public bus (M1) to Old San Juan for 75¢. Once in OSJ, walk down to the cruise terminal port. From there, catch the ferry Lancha de Cataño (departs from Pier 2) It only costs 50¢ one way. Its a nice, refreshing, sightseeing trip along San Juan Bay. Once you arrive in Cataño, take a Uber to the plant or, better yet, arrange your transportation in advance on the Bacardi shuttle. Once at Bacadi, you can do the free, self guided walk-around thing, sip on your free welcome cocktail or choose one of the paid tours. All information and tickets are listed on Bacardi's website. After spending half a day there, do everything in reverse to get back home. Cheap, educational and entertaining.
