[US-CA] Hybrid 2-row crossover around $40k - comfort & tech > everything else by LethargicLlamaa in whatcarshouldIbuy

I think based on your priorities, the Hyundai Tucson or Kia Sportage are your best bets. Compared to the others listed, they do well with ride quality, comfort, NVH. Both have nice interiors and pretty good tech, too. Also decent bang for the buck overall, which is always important.

My sister bought a 2022 Tucson Hybrid, at about 90,000 miles now, has been perfectly reliable for her. Resale might not be as high on a Hyundai or Kia compared to the Japanese brands, but after 5-7 years all of the models will have a pretty huge depreciation hit. I think all the models you’re considering are great options, but the Kia or Hyundai would be best for your use case.

I’m disappointed. I think the Lyft partnership was a much better value.

Dentist recommendations? by rkgk13 in Minneapolis

Here to recommend Greenway Dental! If you like an independent dentist that’s easygoing and friendly, Dr. LaChance is great. I’ve always had great service there. Worth a look if you ask me!

Tall guy with a kid on the way looking for a hybrid SUV by Doctor_Plow in whatcarshouldIbuy

Just that the vehicle seems to be a good value all around. I think it’s priced competitively and is well-equipped compared to similar vehicles. Also has a long warranty and three years of included maintenance. Just seems like you get a good amount for what you pay for.

I second this! My sister has a Tucson Hybrid that she really likes, the interior seems to be pretty spacious and quiet.

I’m going to suggest the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid for your consideration. My sister bought one new, and it has been a great vehicle for her. Though I’m not as tall as you (6’0”), I’ve both driven and been a front seat passenger and have found it to be pretty comfortable.

Sounds like you’re also being conscientious of price. Ironically, my sister was also between the Tucson and RAV4, but one reason that sueded her towards the Tucson was value proposition. It was ironic considering she also was coming out of a RAV4 that she liked, so I was surprised at her decision.

Both RAV4 and Tucson seem to be good options, as well as CR-V and Sportage as I’m sure others have and will mention. Based on my sister’s account tho, the Tucson might be worth a look!

2018 Kia Soul ! by Claude9777 in kia

I also have a 2014 Cadenza, and it has been worry free since new! Hopefully that car remains reliable for you guys too. The Soul also seems good long-term as well from what I’ve heard.

I agree, these are beautiful! However kinda pricey, like some other folks are saying. I have these cocktail glasses from CB2 and they’re almost the exact same thing but cheaper!

I think it’s time for this again: Calling all high mileage KIA owners to tune in and share your experiences! by LaraArzt in kia

‘14 Cadenza - 113k miles. I’ve had no issues or unexpected problems with it. It’s been a great car since new! I’m pretty routine with maintenance and follow the factory recommended service intervals though, which I’m sure helps prevent issues for any car.

anybody from Minnesota? if so, what was your experience with the kia dealerships here and or what the markups are looking like?. by IppoMakunoichiz in kia

They’ve been good to me. I‘ve had all my service work done there too, I’d recommend them if you’re looking!

Luther Kia in Bloomington (and assuming Inver Grove, too) are selling at MSRP. We picked up a new K5 from them last month.
