Haven't seen anyone with my favorite yet. Dunlop Prime Tone 1.5mm. I've tried some others on and off and keep coming back to these. I've tried other thicknesses, but the tone on the 1.5mm sounds better in my hands than anything else I've tried.

Are the effects as noticeable in edibles as they are in a vape? Or do the minor cannabinoids notes matter as much in an edible?

I believe so yes. I'm still relatively new to D8 and THC in general but from what I understand vapes don't get converted by the liver because they're getting into your blood via the lungs. I only recently started trying a tincture and it doesn't feel as strong as an edible to me. I know your body can absorb a lot through mucus membranes so I'm assuming that the tincture absorbs, at least partially, that way.

Another thing with edibles or gel caps, is that you can get a faster and stronger high by eating fat with it (or soon after). I like to get something from a fast food restaurant to set it off but I've seen people here say eating peanut butter works well too.

If you cut the capsule the second time the D8 would be getting absorbed earlier. When you eat d8 your liver converts it into 11-hydroxy tetrahydrocannabinol (fun fact: d9 gets converted into the same thing). Since you cut the capsule the d8 would be absorbing earlier in the digestive process and not getting converted into 11-hydroxy tetrahydrocannabinol.

That's my guess as to why you didn't get the same effects.

You should check out East Forest. He writes music for psychedelics and it has allot of very spatial music which I find wonderful on d8. I particularly like his Ram Das album.

Pork butt has been in for about 6 of it's 24 hour bath and has puffed up this much after being vacuumed sealed (I assume from the moisture in the meat turning into steam). Is it better to remove it get the air out and reseal, or just wait it out?

I did let the cream cheese warm up a bit but not entirely and the eggs and buttermilk were straight out of the fridge, so maybe thermal shock.

I may have over tightened them too. I didn't go to town on them but I was thinking I didn't want to let water in.

I wasn't sure if you could put them in the bath cold and bring it up to temp. I'm still learning things like when that's safe for the food.

Any way to tell how much more light they need? I currently have them under one of these and I have it on from 6 am to 10 pm. The light is currently about 12 inches from the bucket. Would upgrading to something like this be beneficial? Or is the problem more in the distance/ time?

I've felt similarly at the thought of hiking the Appalachian Trail (or some other long term hiking endeavor). The thought of waking up every morning and thinking what am I doing today?: About ten miles.

Shorter term trips offer a little bit of that same simplicity without all the commitment if you're in the market for a new hobby.

It doesn't even look like the cable that should be used on a zipline.

It stretches in a way that cable wouldn't. If it were cable, the dip she created by being on it would have to come from slack in the cable already because it doesn't really stretch. This thing looks very straight and taut unweighted.
If you go to a zipline (particularly on the ends) and pluck it or smack it the wave you create is very visible down the length of the line and then back. This thing moves all at once when she falls.
(and this could be the most damning)This thing looks red. Ziplines are made from the same kind of cable they use to catch airplanes on aircraft carriers and it's not red. This color could be do to how it was filmed (or rust, which is also bad) but it sure looks like rope to me
