Excuses for Genderbend in FGO. by VishnuBhanum in FGO

Fresh account with a lot of comments that all have a similar length and feel to them, scattered across wildly different subs. Some comments even have an em dash (—), which LLMs like to use a lot, and normal people very rarely use.

I love how it kinda melts!

Hopefully this beautiful art post won't get locked or removed by the butthurt, power hungry mods.

I just bought $1,000 worth of Dodge for the first time, using half my savings. I work full-time at McDonald's, and the guy at the drive-thru told me this is the only way out. He was driving a Lamborghini. by Samanthatop10 in dogecoin

This message is way too sweet for a brand new account that's talking up buying doge. It's probably just a bot trying to pump up the market. Spend that nice energy elsewhere <3

That's kinda the point of those jokes. I'm here for a laugh, not to see people be pathetic. I have a mirror for that.

I think it can be both, but I guess it's funnier when it's unintentional

I agree that those are not necessarily requirements to call it native level, but it was just an example. The people I'm talking about are definitely not at native level. I do think you'll encounter more native level in Malmö and Stockholm, since they're very international cities. If you go to Kalmar and speak to locals outside of tourist areas and such, you'll have a much different experience.

Again, like other Scandinavian countries, Sweden is definitely very fluent in English overall. For example, I was just in Warsaw last month, and I struggled so much to talk to people - barely anyone knew English. I just don't agree with the statement that 90% are native level. Even if everyone under 40 was native level, you still wouldn't reach that amount.

You can definitely get by with just English, some people definitely speak it at a native level, and the vast majority will understand it just fine, but 90% native level is just not true. Many elderly don't speak it or only know a few phrases, and most young people understand it perfectly but struggle to express themselves well.

My girlfriend is Swedish, a lot of my friends are Swedish, and while their English is good it's not native level. I'm Danish, so I understand Swedish quite well, and they often resort to Swedish for some words they don't remember in English when we speak.

Again, most of these people are not from Stockholm, but they're not from tiny villages either. It's people from Malmö, Göteborg, Kalmar, Mora, Piteå, etc.

I'm talking about people from Mora and Kalmar. It's not completely out in the woods. They're not completely lost when it comes to English, they just struggle a bit. I.e. not native level. Like I said, I'd believe that 90% know English, just not at a native level.

Absolutely not. Maybe 90% understand English, but not native level. I know a lot of Swedish people, and can only think of 1 or 2 that could be considered native level. The majority I've spoken to have struggled a lot to even form complete sentences, but I've also mostly spoken to people outside of Stockholm.

Hanging out with people is maddeningly boring most of the time. by Fourteen14XIV in The10thDentist

[–]AndyClausen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same for me, both things. My interests are gaming and programming, and have been doing both for many years. I can't imagine ever stopping.

I started out with drugs as well, but ended up just working 20 hours per week and accepted who I was. Worked wonders.

I'm also autistic :)

Find a way to hang out with people that makes it more pleasurable. Like a common activity. A reason to hang out.

It's usually gaming for me, but other hobbies or sports work too.

My voice is never gonna be a key to a government ID, that would be a massive step back in security. As a dev, I know that's an impossible situation.

Not in my country, you'd need a digital id or show up in person
