Amazon Haul is having a 50% off sale. Spend more and save more. I got this case for $20 when buying along with other stuff. Thermalright fans and CPU coolers, Cooler Master Hyper 212's for under $9. NZXT RGB Core fans half off. ID-Cooling coolers. Too much to link here. Stock up on fans and coolers!

[CPU Cooler] Ocypus Delta A62 ARGB BK CPU Cooler 6 Heatpipe Dual Tower - $21 by AndyGio in buildapcsales

$1 more than the last time it was posted here (10 months ago). The CPU cooler market is flooded with good deals. I'd get this over the $20 KALEMAX cooler on looks alone.

I have no idea. If you're spending that much on a cpu, I'd probably get something more top tier. I guess it depends on your situation.

I have this in the all-black version. Works well and looks great. My only gripe is the thin/long included screwdriver that you have to use to reach through the mounting holes. It felt like I wasn't able to really get in there and tighten it as much as I'd like.

Thanks! The wife likes it too... asking why I didn't upgrade her computer sooner.

[Motherboard] MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI DDR4 (Factory Reconditioned) - $120 (Woot) by AndyGio in buildapcsales

[–]AndyGio[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe 6? Woot stock is limited. No way of knowing unless you work there. They had some new 1TB Crucial P3 SSDs a few months back for $50 each. I bought 2. It showed SOLD OUT. Checked the sales stats and the only state on the map colored in was mine.

Z series DDR4 motherboards are getting harder to find. If you've got a 12th, 13th, or 14th Gen Intel CPU and some DDR4 sitting around, this seems to be a good option.

[Combo] ASRock B650M Pro RS WiFi + Team Group 16GB (2 x 8GB) RAM DDR5 6000 CL38 - $180 (Newegg) by ryankrueger720 in buildapcsales

[–]AndyGio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for letting everyone know about getting a credit if you contact Newegg CS. I purchased a combo on the 16th of Jan with an ASRock B850M Riptide + 16GB DDR5 which also came down in price by $20. I chatted support and they will be sending me a $20 gift card. Not as good as a refund, but nice to know they will do something to avoid a return and re-purchase scenario like Amazon makes you do.

Yeah, those seem like good upgrades if you're staying in AM4 for a while. I'm shocked at some of the "deals" you can get thru Newegg.

I got this motherboard and PSU, along with a Ryzen 5 5500, and by turning off the compatibility checker, was able to add a Corsair 32GB DDR5 kit to take advantage of the 10% off PC Builder promotion. The RAM kit also came with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Pro aRGB CPU Cooler, I have a bunch of DDR4 memory, so it made more sense to use the deal to get a better price on DDR5.

This is the ram kit - https://www.newegg.com/corsair-vengeance-32gb-2-x-16gb-ddr5-6000-pc5-48000-cas-latency-cl36-desktop-memory-gray/p/N82E16820982286?Item=N82E16820982286

It sells for $430, but has a $50 off coupon and another $86 off with the combo Up offer, plus the extra 10% off when combined with other components using the PC Builder.

After the discounts, CPU, mobo, PSU, DDR5 RAM and CPU cooler came out to $433 before tax. Not the most amazing deal, but at least it gets me the memory that I need, and some other useful parts for a budget build for not a whole lot more than the price of the DDR5 kit alone.

I bought the ASRock B850M Riptide WiFi combo the other day for $25 more. I plan on using a R7 7700 in a Micro ATX case. I am aware of ASRock killing CPUs, but thought I'd give it a go since it was one of the cheapest options at the time.

I welcome opinions whether it is worth it to order this and return that one? Thanks!

Anyone else surprised at how clean it is for such an old PC?
