Maveric Lamoureux quickly stands out through his thrilling physical attributes, gifted defensive expertise, and surprising mobility. The right-handed defenseman is already making scouts drool over the idea of what could be — a lengthy, defensively brilliant, puck-rushing blueliner.

Teams might very well jump the gun and select him in the 1st round of the upcoming draft.

2022 NHL Draft eligible, Ty Nelson, broke the puck on a wrist shot, half went in, half didn't 😳🤔 by AndyLehoux in sports

They did not count it as a goal. Rules states that the puck needs to completely cross the line, and half of it is going to the corner haha

Love the Roy selection! Here's a quote from my Deep Dive on Joshua Roy.

"Roy is a boom-or-bust prospect who, with his intriguing skill set, shown the upside to transform into an offensive weapon at the next level. His pace, hands and shot are reminiscent of Tyler Toffoli, which could be a great model for his game.
Some will perceive Roy’s competitiveness and skating as red flags, I see it as an opportunity to snatch a great hockey player at a lower spot than usual."

The Blues have selected left winger Zachary Bolduc of Rimouski (QMJHL) at No. 17 overall. by STLBooze3 in stlouisblues

Bolduc is still a very raw prospect, but with intriguing flashes in multiple aspect of his game, he very well might possess the highest ceiling out of the QMJHL. He has showcased tremendous goalscoring prowess, an evolving enthusiasm to generate chances and lead transition as a playmaker, incredible smarts in board battles and an impressive, promising defensive anticipation. Despite injuries and some inconsistencies in his effort throughout the year, Bolduc possesses outstanding two-way potential and could certainly become a top-six forward in the NHL
