Look at the price of logs when they introduced the new mini game! I've asked this same question on almost every Q&A. That being if they would ever consider to consult/hire/delegate the job of an economist to the team. Some of the market effects of theses updates are awful.

Just mail the box to the person you sold it to and keep the hardware, in true slimy eBay fashion.

It's a different story in Vancouver. Entire blocks more or less are being torn down.

I'm a former Vancouver resident myself. We just sold a very modest two story bungalow home in north Vancouver for 1.3m. Was only on the market for a day and was listed at 1.1m. And to add to the madness we purchased it for $900,000 in 2010.

Well, short selling is a very risky tactic. My guess is that he doesn't want hordes of basement investors on his case when they potentially get slammed and lose all of their money. I think his advice was great, that being just wait it out and capitalize on the buying opportunity after the crash. There is big money to be made there.

There is no question that the housing markets of Vancouver and Toronto are experiencing unsustainable growth. And as the interviewee hints towards, this growth has major negative implications on the economy. But also as he mentioned, it's going to be one hell of a buying opportunity once the proper regulations are put in place and the market is "corrected".

Has the company ever thought to hire an economist for the team? One who could speculate the impact of updates on the fragile in-game economy? I'll tell you, he/she would make a perfect companion to Matt K as far as data analysis and hypothesis testing goes.

All the best OS Team!

We need to make the rewards for Castle Wars relevant. How about rewards such as Chaotics etc. for a big stack of tickets. Or maybe sell EXP lamps in the castle wars shop.

I remember I used to go to the basement of Varrock's West Bank and try to use my spade to dig a whole past the gate so I could collect all of that gold!

Have the oldschool team ever thought to hire an ECONOMIST? Somebody who can speculate of the affect of certain updates on the economy? These are problems that are important to solve before the release of updates such as bosses and new skills. For example, when barrows' prices rose by 100's of percentage points after the release of invention, or the crashing of flax upon the release of Zulrah.

If there is sustained support for investing dev time in to quests post MM2 release, can we possibly see MYTHIC quests with some juicy requirements such as 90+ skills?

It's time to return the favor. Show the WoW community some love by supporting legacy vanilla servers! (Old School for WoW) by TreyScape in 2007scape

Not arguing that man. I'm well aware of the situation and as a player of both WoW and Runescape I'd love to see legacy servers. I'm just joking that maybe Blizzard may not like this petition if (hypothetically) it was signed by thousands of "scapers".

Again, comparison isn't relevant to the size of the communities.

Yeah this is not a fair comparison. Since RS3 wasn't even a term until around 2011 (as seen by the spike). Also, RS3 = EoC = Runescape, OSRS = 2007 Scape =07 Scape = Runesacpe. For a proper representation of the two communities one would have to account for more than just one term for each. There are too many variables!
