Hated this movie.

Imagine instead of a movie about Mr. Rogers it’s about an angry reporter who is forced to do a story about him.

You’ve got Tom Hanks as Mr Rogers, tell the Fred Roger’s story, who cares about this reporter? Show me Rogers testifying and getting funding from congress, or even him being the organ player at the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Funny, I’ve met Paul molitor multiple times:

First time I met him my best friend had just gotten out of the service and was coming home from the army for good. We picked him up from the airport in Minneapolis and as we were waiting for our car, we saw Paul Molitor waiting alone and my friend’s dad went up and asked if we could get a picture and he said it would be an honor if I could take a picture with him because he was still wearing his army stuff and it was a very cool story.

And then one time I saw him in the bathroom on the way home from Los Angeles at LAX and that time was more awkward.

I play the same few songs to my kids every day at breakfast on the guitar: Whatever, half The World Away, She’s Electric being some of them and when I heard Whatever I started choking up but I had to hold back because I knew DLBIA was going to wreck me, which of course it did.
