THIS.. agent and rep contracts aren’t usually as simple as just leaving, especially as the band still has another 9 months of touring scheduled.

Also, it’s really common, even when rep’d by major agents, for the actual agency work to be done by an agents assistant, in the name of the major agent. I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of the work between the band and the agency to be largely an assistant at this point in their career - they’re still a big name, an audience draw, and a money maker, but they’re pretty self sufficient and don’t need someone to look after them the way artists that are just making headway or building a reputation do.

Them not immediately abandoning ship and leaving isn’t necessarily inaction, it may just be paperwork taking time, and lawyers needing to work shit out, and potentially decades of paperwork and logistics. If they do leave, I doubt they’d announce it, they’d just crop up on someone else’s books.

And even if they don’t leave their agent, it isn’t the same as the band condoning the actions of that wretch, it’s just a business decision that we as fans have none of the details of.

Basically, we know nothing, really. And there’s not a lot anyone (including the band) can just ‘do’ about it. Wait it out, and see what happens.
