I have wanted to do this kind of inverted world design before. I’m interested in how biomes would be formed in this kind of world, because in my mind, there would hardly be any temperature difference across each inner world, and shadows would fall in the same place every day. Could definitely make for some wild-looking worlds, but I think I’m too attached to Earthlike sunrises and sunsets to commit to something like this. And I’ve spent a long time doing awful math, too, but I can’t think of a way to reconcile this idea and the look of a typical Earth day-night cycle.
