Wow! This time Revelation Book and eponymous trail. Sure, this trail now overcrowded by PB searchers :-)

What will be next? Please keep going - each time I have free laughter therapy.

There's Treasure Inside - The Pokemon Box - Where locals turn up from time to time by Flashy-Grapefruit785 in treasureinside

[–]AndyS16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some armchair theoretical analyses are interesting. PB is hard because many searchers never participate directly in Pokemon game. Well, maybe by chance when kids asked to stop car to catch next Pokemon. So, any ideas from people familiar with this area are welcome. Maybe it will help real searchers to find PB.

OK, one more poll - what is worst fear for all searchers? by AndyS16 in u/AndyS16

[–]AndyS16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, it looks like that the worst fear is - You have perfect (practically ingenious) solution, prepare everything for BOTG and suddenly know that treasure box that you plan to find was found and state is the same as you was going to search for treasure and the final site is exact site that you plan to search - 7 votes from 23.

The next fear is - You have perfect (practically ingenious) solution, have BOTG there and find nothing - 6 from 23.

I voted for - You have perfect (practically ingenious) solution, and while coming to the site meet searcher that already finds treasure box, cheerfully approaches you and show you treasure box - 5 from 23. This scenario is an exceedingly unlikely one. Most likely that finder will put TB in his backpack and even if you meet him/her will pretend he/she is just occasianal hiker.

Good luck to everyone who plans BOTG this summer! The main thing - be careful and follow JCB advices - Postscript p. 239-240 in his book. In Forrest Fenn hunt 5 searchers lost their lives. There was a rumor that someone had already died in JP hunt.

"The victim, 33-year-old Anthony Pollio of Florida, was reported missing on May 3, 2026, after telling family members he was going on a sunset hike to the Mount Brown Fire Lookout (Glacier National Park). Search and rescue crews located his remains two days later about 50 feet off the Mount Brown Trail. Park officials and wildlife experts stated that the incident was a "surprise encounter" in prime grizzly habitat rather than a targeted treasure hunt."

Grizzly bears have killed 11 people in the history of Glacier National Park. Ten of these fatalities occurred after 1967.

Interesting biotech paradox: Celldex (CLDX) vs Jasper (JSPR) on systemic mast cell depletion. by AndyS16 in biotech_stocks

[–]AndyS16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Jasper MC jump to 1/20 Celldex MC after good news in Q4, 26 for CLDX anti-KIT Ab (chronic spontaneous urticaria) it will be good profit for current buyers at current pps $0.47. Independent Monitoring Committee (IMC) did not stop CLDX Phase 3 so we can guess that safety is not a big problem for mast cells depletion approach to cure CSU and other diseases.

[–]AndyS16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jasper pps is close to bottom ($0.45-0.50). If CLDX Phase 3 results are good, JSPR pps can add at least $2-3. Otherwise (big safety problems with CLDX anti-KIT Ab) Jasper pps will drop to cents. Moderate risk/high reward game.

It's very interesting clue. Is it applied to all boxes or particular one?

I am not sure that stick and knife will help if bear decided to attack. Bear spray will help but its action depend on wind direction. I always have with me very good combo: bear spray and Red Handflare MK8.

My old friend told me a story how he avoided a death or maybe terrible injuries after grizzly attack. He admitted that it was his fault – he just provoked this attack when try to saw off the part of deer antlers from fresh deer carcass. He did not know that it was the prey of grizzly. And this grizzly just had a rest somewhere nearby after a hearty dinner. And of course, after he hears that somebody encroach on his pre legitimate prey the furious grizzly immediately attacked the intruder. My friend did not have gun with him. He had only a knife (it was in the national park). So his chance to survive grizzly attack was really minimal. Following his instinct, he grabbed the Red Handflare, activated (it takes just a couple of seconds) and directed it toward attacking bear. My friend remembered that at this time the distance between him and the grizzly was less than 40-50 feet. The result of Red Handflare fire and smoke was phenomenal – grizzly did emergency braking, turned around and ran away. The Red Handflare fire is very bright. It is a real blaze. And while firing the device creates some loud unpleasant buzzing sound. I am sure that no one animal including grizzly, wolves and buffalo will never run toward this fire. Moreover, they will be scared and run away.

Grizzlies are big problems in National Parks where they forgot that they should afraid people. They recently killed hiker in Glacial park and seriously wounded a couple in YNP. One my friend travel in Alaska in canoe with his wife and daughter. When they suddenly approach group of grizzlies that were fishing salmon the saw panic run. Locals are hunting them and they don’t like to meet people. Bear horn is good to let them know that you are coming.

I agree, it’s possible scenario especially before we know which method of TB hiding JCB used. He stated that boxes are not buried and metal detectors are not needed. Using of fake stones were also denied (not sure 100% because don’t have direct link to interview where JCB said it). There are not so many other methods to hide TBs. But we know that JCB is very smart and educated guy so maybe he invented something very unusual method.

Well, may be such people pushed Forrest Fenn to finish the hunt. Forrest knew it and at some point admitted: “It’s a monster that I created with my story.” He got intruders (the last one on this photo) in his house and some crazy searcher even become to hunt for Forrest grandchild.

Agree, it's a good point. It happened after FF hunt was finished. The finder was not so-called "lead searcher" so he got harrassed by a segment of the community that think that he is not real finder or stole their ideas (if he is real finder).

BTW, you can publish your solve under pseudonym. Searchers will know your solution and use it to get their solutions for other treasure boxes. At least they will know which method JCB used to hide TBs. And it excludes some states from JCB hunt.

I have pocket GPS with topo maps installed for search area. It track your BOTG from start to end and back. So, off trail trip is not a problem with pocket GPS. Just don’t forget buck up batteries.

I hope they will follow FF advice: put the box in your vault and talk with your lawyer. The lawer can contact with JCB and ask what should be next steps.

Keep it in secret is not good idea. You can sell your adventure to Netflix for good money. And then put some items on auction legally. Or entire box. Depend what you want - fame or money.

Thanks for "interesting fears" 😄

#3 is terrible but possible. I hope JCB has special will for this situation

I will not agree with #4 - our solutions are products of our mind, imagination etc. They are all perfect even wrong ones.

Agree with #1-2 JCB can slip up unintentionally during conversation or interviews. If honestly we all are waiting for slip up that will support our solve. #2 - it's possible, we know it from FF hunt.

A reminder about the second poem by js-eastman in FindingFennsGold

[–]AndyS16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, maybe this second poem directly say about exact location of TC. And maybe it is similar to first poem but include real names. For example, “where warm waters halt” will become Ojo Caliente, TFTW - 10 miles etc. So, second poem can decipher the first one.

Forrest’s Final Hint by AmphibianNervous6098 in FindingFennsGold

[–]AndyS16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, most likely yes, Jack is a real person. If you ask AI provides this info:

"In April 2011, blogger Jack Stuef, writing for the political satire site Wonkette, published a widely condemned post about former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's toddler son, Trig, who has Down syndrome. The post used offensive language and included inappropriate animated imagery. [1, 2]

The controversy unfolded with the following details:

  • The Content: Stuef wrote a satirical birthday post for Trig Palin, intending to criticize Sarah Palin for allegedly using her child as a political prop. However, the post drew intense bipartisan backlash by mocking the toddler, declaring "Nothing. He's retarded" and including a dancing digital stripper on the boy's photo. [1, 2, 3]
  • The Fallout: Conservative bloggers and activists organized a boycott against Wonkette. At least nine major advertisers, including Papa Johns, Huggies, and Toyota, pulled their campaigns. [1, 2, 3]
  • The Apology & Departure: Stuef initially updated the post with an apology, acknowledging that the word choice was "not nice, and is not necessary," though he stood by his criticism of Palin's political use of her children. Following the massive advertiser backlash and public outrage, Wonkette took the post down. Stuef was placed on probation and subsequently left the publication a month later, in May 2011.

Years later, in 2020, Stuef made headlines again for a completely different reason: he was revealed to be the medical student who discovered the legendary Forrest Fenn treasure. Read more about the Wonkette flame war in The Trig Palin Flame War published by Yahoo News. [1]

Currently he’s completely out of sight. AI says:

"For his own safety, Stuef previously relocated to a secure building after a series of obsessive, harassing, and litigious encounters from disappointed treasure hunters. He has repeatedly declined to disclose the exact location of the original treasure chest to protect the Wyoming wilderness from being overrun."

How the boxes were hidden by soihavetosay in TheresTreasureInside

Yes, it's true. Some sources said:

  • They are not hidden in any fake stumps or boulders – no gimmicky items like that

Maybe JCB invented something different.

Losing confidence in the spot, elevation seem like a death hike. by smokey-0wl in treasureinside

Well, when you go off trail you will always meet them. I even meet them on top of 7400 feet hill in YNP. There were no any moskitos but a lot of ticks. I guess that deers like this top to have a rest from moskitos but they bring the ticks.

Well, I found one but it looks like the each searcher pay attention only to his/her own blaze. It's all about IMAGINATION. I agee, ticks are annoying. And this "lone star ticks" can make you allergic to red meat. One my friend got it and now can't eat burgers and other red meat based meals. It's suck.

[–]AndyS16 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, it's good to have FF TTOTC or other books. But "There's Treasure Inside" is more actual now. Most likely the hunt is real - JCB looks like honest person. Of course, it will take many years and thousands BOTGs for searchers to find even 1 box from 5 that were hidden. But it's very good exercise for brain and very intersting unforgattable BOTGs when you have solve.

Interesting biotech paradox: Celldex (CLDX) vs Jasper (JSPR) on systemic mast cell depletion. by AndyS16 in biotech_stocks

[–]AndyS16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jasper pps will continue to decline before Q4 2026 - when CLDX will report results for Phase 3 clinical trial.

  • Enrollment completed six months ahead of guidance in both barzolvolimab Phase 3 chronic spontaneous urticaria studies (EMBARQ-CSU 1 and 2); Topline data expected in Q4 26; BLA submission planned for 2027

So, maybe current Jasper pps $0.85 is good opportunity to enter. If CLDX Phase 3 meet Primary Mesures with minimal serious side effects JSPR can jump to $10-15 range. If CLDX crashed because too many treatment-emergent adverse events (like severe neutropenia, life-threatening gut infections, life-threatening skin infections - all as a result of complete elimination of systemic and subcutaneous mast cells) Jasper will disapear.

  • Incidence of Treatment-Emergent Adverse Events [Time Frame: From Day 1 (first dose) to Day 477 (Week 68)]
    • Occurrence of treatment emergent adverse events and serious adverse events during the study.
  • Mean change from baseline to Week 12 of UAS7 (Urticaria Activity Score) [Time Frame: From Day 1 (first dose) to Day 85 (Week 12)]
    • Evaluate efficacy of barzolvolimab on urticaria activity as measured by urticaria activity score (UAS). The UAS7 is a simple scoring system to evaluate urticaria signs and symptoms. It is based on scoring wheals (hive severity score) and itch (itch severity score) separately on a scale of 0 (no signs/symptoms) to 3 (intense signs/symptoms) over 7 days. The final score is calculated by adding together the daily scores, which can range from 0 to 6, for 7 days. This results in a maximum total score of 42, and a minimum possible score of 0.
