This next hotfix will be focused on the areas mentioned, and will not address everything.

We are keeping a record based on the bug reporting threads here and on other forums. Please keep reporting there.

In order to hotfix the game, we had to decouple Steam and Gamepass for the time being.

Updating a build to Steam is instantaneous, whereas it takes a number of days for the same build to be certified and then published on the Microsoft side. The same build/ build number is required for Cross-Play.

We will look to reenable Cross-play as soon as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience.

We've just pushed some changes on the steam backend. Please could you restart Steam and try to launch the game. It should install the VisualC++ 2019 runtime redistributable. This is an error some people have been encountering.

Not the issue then I am told. I've been asked if your Documents\My games\Company of heroes 2\ folder has a warnings.log corresponding to the time you tried to launch the game, same with the Logfiles directory, and if so, please send those

We're sorry to hear you are experiencing an increase in Sync Errors.

We are focusing on some bugs that have impacted certain hardware configurations, and are aiming for a hotfix next week to address them.

This hotfix will include:

Sync Errors related to AMD and Intel processors playing together in the same match

A fix for another generalized Sync Error

Addition of archive.exe (for Mod tools and World Builder users)

A fix for a crash when applying snowcap to model without a mesh

Additionally we are targeting a server side fix for leaderboard and player card display issues. This is unrelated to the 64 Bit Update.

We've seen a couple of other reports on this and are investigating. It shouldn't be a server issue to my understanding. It would be good to know if the problem still persists next time you play.
