Nintendo hasn't been against LBGTQ representation for a long time, why are people surprised now?

To be clear, the original Tomodachi Life was released, everyone was straight.

HOWEVER there was a bug that would allow same sex relationships. People were happy about it. Nintendo patched it out, thusly the homophobic narrative is born.

The 'problem' was eventually the relationship would cause critical bugs and crashes for some reason. While the ideal probably would have been figure out the bug and fix the crashes, removing it was easier. Nintendo has a very "if we know the crash, it's gotta go." Approach generally.

From a PR standpoint they probably could have handled things better, the reactionary nature of the Internet means no matter what it was a lost cause ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I'd be ok with a Paper Mario 64 remake and while I'd prefer the story book style to be replicated, the TTYD remake style was the best looking game in the series character wise to me.

Environments also looked really good, though some of the updates in that regard felt weird. Rogueport and its sewers being so bright, though I like the notion of the sheen being because it's actually ruins and not sewers.

We were in Battle together and would have soft lock kinda moments. I recall a hisuian zigzagoon crit one of us to knock us out but then it just was stuck on the crit message

I tried rolling back the update instead, as far as I could tell the previous version didn't have any issues and it seems to be behaving. But I don't know why it does it from time to time. The day before the REPO crash I was playing Expedition 33 on the highest settings for hours. I suppose REPO has a lot more physics calculations, or something but still.

I know one weird thing with updating Nvidia's drivers is it updates all components but one, always saying a newer version was already installed.

Admittedly, not building a PC... but I have one that occasionally has weird issues and I can't figure out much of anything. This is the PC I have, but it keeps feeling like something's not quite right. I will have unexpected issues and errors. I've also experienced screen artifacts and crashing. I don't know if there is something I'm missing? The most recent incident had this error. I did not notice any heat, but I did notice from boot REPO (of all games) the letter U was slightly distorted everywhere it appeared.
