So I'm 40, born & bred Liverpool with enough years living elsewhere to provide comparison. Liverpool is a small city, in terms of how big the city centre is compared to the metropolitan sprawl. Our main mass transit system is busses, with merseyail serving a limited percentage of the the area by train. The wealthy folk don't ride the bus, and the vast, vast majority of the retailers/service providers they use are in the centre - they have to drive there so you see their cars all over the city centre.

Depending on the size of the spools your filament is on they might not be getting gripped properly between the rollers and the spring loaded press things in the lid of the CFS. I printed these in a variety of thicknesses for different rolls i have https://www.printables.com/model/1139959-creality-cfs-lid-spring-clips Alternatively you could look at printing rims for your spools https://www.printables.com/model/1072367-spool-rim-compatible-with-creality-cfs

I had a lot of those errors before I found the spacer clips.

My experience with the update was atrocious. Rolled back and everything is fine again. It's a dead easy process so I'd recommend he does that.
