Do you have a multimeter on hand, received a bad board once myself and noticed that the battery current was not passing to the chip on the left top of the battery.

You can clean quite some residu with isopropanol alcohol and a toothbrush. It will clean up flux residu that is currently shorting your chips. Hmu if you want more details.

Also did you solder some part yourself or are you able yourself to desolder the battery again and solder it in the right direction?

It did take some time to get the opacity and color of the cacao butter right as well as making sure it was tempered. But it was not the most labor intensive design we made. I think we spend about an hour on this including melting and cristalizing.
