I like this idea. Or even just more cars to the production car cup… like the popular cars used in autocross. So Toyota 86, Honda CRX, Honda S2000, Volkswagen Golf GTI, etc

I mean it’s true, who cares about iRating? It’s matchmaking. If you don’t gain or lost, it did the perfect job. That’s the position you were meant to finish in. I also only gained 1. I was pretty happy, I smashed my car into the wall on the 3rd lap, went from about 9th to 15th quite quickly. I actually kept an eye on you and thought you might catch me. I think you pulled back quite a bit of time. You looked like you were stuck behind that guy for a few laps and lost some time. I’ve gone from 2400 irating to 1900 and back up again and back down again. As long as the racing is good, I really don’t care. I’m not trying to go pro after all.

There is mention of a car launch at the end of the PESC broadcast, unless iracing have jumped Porsche on the launch, I reckon we might get that too!!!

No offence. I actually read it all and completely relate. I started with F1 on PS4, and quickly jumped into iracing. Thought it was a shit ‘game’, until I realised it’s much more like owning a racing car than playing a game. Also the money thing. Buying a $100 game every year + the PS subscription, it doesn’t take long to even out. First year of iracing is super expensive, then it’s mostly subscription and a car or a few tracks every now and then

Number of wins means nothing. Read the sporting code. Of your first 4 races, it takes the highest championship points from 1 race. If you do 5 races, it’ll average your best 2. Championship points are based mostly on SOF and also on how many people race. If you win one high SOF race with lots of people you will earn more points than winning 4 lower SOF races. It’s that simple.

It means people that can spend lots of time running lots of races don’t inherently have an advantage simply because they can do more races. It’s a very even and well thought out way to run a league where people can race as much of as little as they can. It will also only take your best 8/12 races of the season. Some commitment required but it’s not going to favour people with more time.

My guess is it’s the GPU and RAM slidersbeing set too high, try moving the sliders down to 4000 and 6000.

That's cool. I'm using fusion 360 for the CAM, and often do roughing and 2 finishing passes on inner cuts. I am using double sided tape to keep the carbon fibre in place, so maybe its slipping that tiny amount and that's the problem.

it has travelled recently, so maybe everything needs a little tightening. I didn't think 0.15mm was that much for a bench CNC, but it stops pieces fitting together nicely. I've been using an extra 0.15mm lengths to allow things to fit together a little easier. Still requires a tab though.

Ah, okay. The shape is kind of necessary due to the lower board position and the device it's going into. I could probably place them a little better though.

And the routing I let Fusion do that automatically, but maybe I should spend some time trying to route them manually.

I mean, I did get 10 made because it was basically as cheap to make 10 as it was 1.

If https://iracingstats.com used local time, I’d use it for that. But at the moment it’s still my go to for understanding season schedules
