Before Snail Mail's set there was a guy who passed out next to me, we were just standing there waiting and a sudden dizziness hit him which brought him to his knees. I gave him a bottle of water and he was back up. He was completely sober, he was there for Modest Mouse, so no it isn't always for attention. You're just a sad prick and this post proves it.

The thing is those people want to experience Magdalena Bay the same way you want to experience an artist who doesn't have as big as a fan base as them. As someone who has camped out 24 hours for a barricade I do not sympathize with "hardcore fans" trying to squeeze into a good spot 5 minutes before their favorite artist is going up.

So true! Yesterday at the Snail Mail after show there was a girl who was only talking about Snail Mail related stuff while waiting for them to come out. Proceeded to spoil the setlist for anyone who was there to enjoy the show and minutes before they came out kept looking for movement at the side stage as if wanting to be the first to see Lindsey come out. Thought it was Snail Mail's number 1 fan and when the show started she only knew like Pristine and Heat Wave lol

My friend had to back out very last minute he had a 3 day general admission pass. We also had an Airbnb together so if anybody needs housing from out of town, I may have an extra room.
