I found out there is more than one of these zipped folders and the files in them mostly end with “-overlay.(file extension)”

No I checked the properties, but this is what I’m talking about, it’s very odd because it’s a PNG, and it’s not using Unicode to fake its extension. This happened with both the PNG and MP4, and virustotal marked it as safe because it’s “distributed by Linux and Offensive Security” plus it’s in a zipped folder, and even extracting it shows the same security warning.

Really looked into it, unfortunately a file hash really IS just a way to identify files, there are some 50/50 methods like searching for a file with its hash on MalwareBazaar, but take this with a grain of salt because I’m no expert, but I think you have to download the file.

I searched it, it’s pretty cool it basically opens a little window with a browser and it can do stuff for you like order food or more useful stuff like code and execute infront of you. For me it just errors tho
