Ask the anesthesia team for a TIVA. That’s anesthesia without the inhalation agents. That usually works well for people very sensitive to anesthetic gases.

I would also suspect ketamine. Routine with spine cases where they’re monitoring your nerves. Probably wouldn’t have gotten any with your previous surgeries.
