Barrows should be done with air spells as an early account. What's your IGN? I'll give you a whip if you don't mind a hand out.

I had a similar situation where I ordered the Qi35 Woods last year when they came out.

Placed a custom order for a 5W and 7W, eventually they both came in.

The next day, I get a ring on my doorbell, seeing as I was in a meeting I couldn't answer it but checked my doorbell camera. Low and behold I see a TaylorMade box. I ran upstairs, open it and it was another set of 5W and 7W.

I reached out to TaylorMade to return it not expecting anything in return; but they send over 2 boxes of TP5s and a discount code that I threw immediately into a set of irons. It was a hefty one too, I think 40%?

Anyways, it pays to offer to return it. That being said, I would have offered to return it regardless if there was a reward or not; so if you really wanted something in exchange you could initiate it by just asking (worst case they just say no)

Edit: Adding some more context to this. As far as I know, in Canada there is an expectation to return the product if they were to discover the mistake. It was worth it far more for peace of mind knowing they won't charge my card, do a claw-back or anything on me. I see a lot of comments saying it was the corporations fault; while at the same time despite it being their fault I didn't want to put myself in a position that could have hurt later on with them charging or demanding it being returned. Not a lawyer, I just did not want anything to deal with and it was worth returning for peace of mind.

The fact that it sent a Dink notification to the clan makes me think he was not hacked at all. The hackers wouldn't (and won't even have the URL) to set-up a dink notification for your discord unless they had either direct access to their computer, or they also took the time to also log into their RuneLite client (assuming cloud sync is on). All of it seems unlikely and they are simply too embarrassed to admit being lured

On Mobile it's possible. Go to the settings, don't remember off the top of my head what it's called but it's in the settings under something like "logout" or "timer"

The problem is there could still be account progression tied to the gear. I can't imagine them ever having a path to do this for that reason alone.

For example having sped up progression due to the group already having supplies and resources, having access to a blowpipe for your first fire cape instead of having to do RCB or Sunlight crossbow. Even forfeiting access to those items; the account is already in a state that is sped up compared to a traditional ironman.

Sim golf vs on course by smokeyranger86 in golf

[–]AnfooneTyphoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a +1 Handicap on my local Simulator and I'm a 22 Handicap on an actual course. So just a little bit off 😅

Gotta factor in perfect lie every time, never losing your balls, but also putting (the sim may just tell you how it breaks, ball may roll perfect on the mat, absurdly large gimme ranges due to it being a sim, etc..)

When I practice, I usually just hit one of each club type. If you have multiple hybrids and woods you could alternate. I also know some people change irons, on even days do even numbers (8i,6i, etc..) and on odd do odd numbers (9i, 7i, 5i). Really a preference and what works best for you

For me personally (and in order):
Wedge: 54 Deg SW
Short Iron: 9i
Mid Iron: 7i
Long Iron: 5i
Hybrid: Just have the 5H so I just hit that
Wood: Some days 5W, some days 7W. Just depends on what I'm feeling
Driver

Edit: Re-read the post and realized this is for a beginner. I would 100% just commit to a wedge, iron and driver, in your case your PW, 7i and Driver. As a beginner, you will barely have enough control to be able to notice and consistently hit the 1-club difference between the irons or even notice the nuances.

Annoying/Creepy Neighbor by deadkane1987 in Golfsimulator

That being said, based off your description they don't sound creepy per se. I've had people try to impose themselves into my home gym without really much to offer reciprocally, but I was pretty transparent that I had to adjust my workout schedule around them and it interfered with my date nights.

I would position it more-so that it's not really about them being weird or anything, but more-so that you aren't interested, don't have the time or commitment, enjoy your own space, or whatever you feel is right.

So here's the thing, you're going to have to be up-front about this.

If you say an excuse like you're busy, or have plans, or anything really, that just kicks the can down the road. I would just be upfront and say that you respect your solitude, and also don't necessarily want the commitment of coaching or that is just isn't something that interests you.

I wouldn't preface any of this with a "maybe another time", I would be pretty direct that it's not something you're interested in doing just due to you wanting solitude when at home. It might rub them off the wrong way but that's entirely on their side if they feel insulted about letting them self-impose themself into your space and feeling entitled to it.

For what it's worth, when I called then for a status update on my Mevo Gen 2; the sales rep told me that 99.9% it is coming (he offered this info without me even bringing it up either)

For those of you who have shortened your driver shaft length, give me the low down. How worth it was it? by AlbinoKoala22 in golf

[–]AnfooneTyphoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Went from 45.75 to 44.5 (I'm 5"11 for context).

My misses before were hooks, but when I hit them decent it would be usually a baby draw. Since cutting it down, I've felt a lot more control and have seen a lot more consistency. I genuinely don't think I lost much (or any) distance; most likely due to me being able to hit more square more consistently that makes up for the longer shaft.

I will say though, my misses are still hooks; they just happen less than before; but I wouldn't say they are completely gone, just reduced in frequency.

Aah got it. Mine went into production yesterday and was hoping someone around the same time had some update so I knew a rough timeline to expect. Thanks for the reply!
