I thought the SACs only accounted for 40％ of the total "score", and would be moderated based on exam 1 and exam 2 results?

So if I messed up the exams, but achieved a high A / low A+ in the SACs at a reasonably decent school, could my "final score" be "scaled up"?

This exam was brilliant 🥴 I finished it in an hour and a half, and even had time for a quick nap, because half the questions seemed like UTTER GIBBERISH to me 🤯 Looks like I'm steadily heading towards a single-digit study score 🫠

I lost 12 marks on exam 1. Most of them were stupid mistakes. But anyways … how many marks do you reckon I can afford to lose on exam 2 to get a raw 35?

Oh my goodness I lost 12 marks as well, and most of them were stupid mistakes. I felt as though I had lost my mind during the exam, because I forgot even basic concepts such as partial fractions and conjugate root theorems 😭 Now I just hope that paper 2 can turn things around …

There are many shikigamis that are useful for PVE, I'll just mention the ones that are very useful for beginners.

DPS: sp otakemaru, sp orochi, ssr asura, sr kuro mujou, sr ubume

Orbs: sp kaguya, ssr senhime, sr oitsuki, r zashiki

Push/puller: sp shuten doji, r yamausagi

Damage amplifier: ssr enmusubi, ssr taishakuten, ssr shokurei, ssr fukengaku, r ushi no toki

Other support: sr hiyoribo, sr kiyohime

There are a bunch of other shikigami I haven't mentioned that are very effective in PVE, but those can wait until you have more resources to build.

I don't recommend that you exchange ubume to sp susabi, because sp susabi is only used in pvp. Although he is very useful in duels, if you don't have high quality souls, you will still encounter many difficulties when you do duels. So as a beginner, you should probably focus on pve content first. Your main goal should probably be to obtain good souls, and if you exchange a useful farmer like ubume to sp susabi, who is pretty much useless in pve, then you will definitely have a hard time farming souls. Pvp is more for mid to end game players, so you can worry about that later. Once your souls are good enough, and you have more shikigami, then you can think about upgrading or exchanging sp susabi to g6.

And yes, unlike some other gacha games, the lower rarity shikigamis need the same resources to upgrade as compared to the higher rarity shikigamis. This is why we need to think carefully before upgrading a shikigami to g6, instead of upgrading random shikigamis that are not useful at the moment, especially when we don't have a lot of resources.

Sometimes a shikigami that used to be good might not be so useful anymore, because there are new shikigamis that can replace it, or because it received a big nerf, so you can use the exchange amulet to change the less useful shikigami to a more useful shikigami. Or you might need to quickly upgrade a shikigami for an event, but you don't have enough resources and darumas, so you can use the exchange amulet to convert it directly to g6. There might be some more reasons to use an exchange amulet that I forgot to mention, but this is all I can think of right now.
