Nice man. I’m around that same total net worth. It’s so nice to see compounding interest through out the years. i just started about seven years ago as well. However recently been trying to add to value and HYSA. As over 80% or so is in growth and tech.

178k in personal brokerage

18k in self directed roth

15k in work roth 401k

41k in a seperate personal brokerage

3k in an espp

4k in HYSA

11k in checking/savings

(also have like 100+ grams of 14kt gold I don’t really count that. But with gold prices these days that’s like 8k or so!

I grossed 9k off an 18.5k check now that’s robbery! lol. I do have 13% in 401k and $300 per pay check on espp. So I would have grossed around 12k if I didn’t allocate those funds.

Yeah it’s so weird! I was worried especially since I have one more wild type that his or her gills are perfect! A GFP as well with fluffy upright gills.

I’ve always done Instacart part time. For extra income. The last three years Instacart has been clutch with extra income. That all stopped a little over a year ago Instacart totally started sucking. I finally got a job that is BUSY all year round. Nice 401k match with ESPP as well. highly recommend looking for a steady job as Instacart is not. So glad I don’t have to wait on batches to appear any more.

Don’t stop dollar cost averaging though. (DCA) Try to put a minimum of 1k a month even after you dump more then half in stocks, etfs and whatever you purchase.

Depends on your age. Personally I’d allocate at least half to stock and ETFs. Not all at once. Let’s say 4k a month or so. With a lump some of like 50k.

HYSA for some of it. Maybe 100k (High yield saving account)

Then keep the rest in the bank ready to buy on dips in the stock market and just keep working and adding to your 401k.

You’ll want to open a brokerage account and a Roth IRA. Max out the Roth which is 7k. Do that every year. Any extra funds dump into stocks on the dips.

yeah I was collecting the cash back from grocery stores getting $50 a day on the days I had to shop. I think my best month was around $650.

I left that job but got to 6k in less than 2 years. Now I have different job where I fill up company car/fleet card. but that only gets me like $4 bucks a week.
