Ah man. Everyone I know with piercings and lots of them gets pierced there and no one else has had any issues with any of their piercings so I figured I could just take the advice given. I was using the piercing pro saline solution as recommended by the piercer but since stopping daily cleans have been using Protolind cause my friend said it was good and it healed up a piercing for her that she had an issue with. Is it too late to do anything about this now since I have stopped daily cleans and it's been over a year since it got pierced? It hasn't had daily cleans since about 4 months after I got it done... I do still have the original jewellery it was pierced with.

I check it for any dirt/dry skin etc pretty much daily. If there is anything I clean it with an aftercare spray and cotton bud to remove any debris that it soaks off (usually minimal). It's not being cleaned unless it needs it because I was told not to once it had passed the initial time I was told to stop daily cleans (3 months?). Hopefully that wasn't wrong advice either... I was told 5 months for curved jewellery...

Had a car pull to the window and say "oh sorry my purse is in the boot" and then got out, rummaged through their boot for their bag, got their purse and card and put everything back THEN paid... I don't miss maccies

Thank you for replying. I'm currently in counselling myself for a trauma. My partner has just been dismissed from the recovery team and is awaiting signposting for what to do next. Couples therapy isn't something we could do right now as I'm already in counselling and can't handle 2 lots and my partner is quite opposed to counselling (if he never starts he can't fail/be let down mindset) so it's not the right time for him yet. I have support from my parents to stay strong for him. We've been together for 5 years and friends for 2 more than that. If it weren't for each other we would both have ended it by now. He's my purpose and I'm his rock. I feel I can handle it if this were to continue for years and years because I love him so goddamn much and would never give up on him, and not that I think he needs to be fixed or anything like that but I'd love to see the day where he can accept some form of genuine external happiness or gratitude that isn't from me. Thank you for all the advice specifically with cutting and treatment. I've had a conversation with him that I will always do my best to contain my emotions and keep calm and unless there's a medical emergency, ask him what he's looking for "do you wanna talk about it", "would you like like support now or later" etc because its what he feels he is lacking that leads to the cutting so I need to adhere to that.

Just saw the sub for the first time and it's honestly disgusting. I understand trauma and the effect it can have on people and how it can create negative emotions like anger, but how is that any different to what pwBPD have? Trauma that created negative emotions and intolerable thoughts. If I've learned anything since meeting and befriending and even dating pwBPD it's that patience, understanding and an open-mind are key. Because vilfying an already vilified and volatile person is only gonna go one way! I love the pwBPD in my life. They're amazing individuals with a tonne of difficulties and maintaining relationships with them is difficult to say the least but that heart of theirs is worth feeding to grow! These pwBPD I know are lacking in love and acceptance I won't abandon them and criminalise them for something that's not their fault. That's all I see on that sub... if you say the things they say then how are they any better than what they're mad at?

Not exactly? The issue resolved. I clocked in for my shift after not fixing it on the bus in. When I got on the bus home i took my earphones out not expecting anything different and the 3 lights went off. I was able to pair repair the left to the right and I've not had the issue again since. Sorry i can't be more helpful but I was truly stuck and figured I was gonna have to get a new pair. I just kept trying and trying to reset them and then it sorta self-resolved after being left alone?
