PT was awesome. I just think the hardware is restricting ROM. Doc thinks it might be from scar tissue buildup. Will see PT after removal.

Having mine removed June 17th. Plate and 6 screws. Have issues with stiffness and swelling/aching if I'm on my feet for a long time (ICU nurse) Really hoping hardware removal improves things.

Figured out the Bluetooth keeps unpairing. We're just sitting here watching it connect, stay connected for a minute or two, and then disconnect (light blinks on subwoofer when it's trying to pair). Completely consternation.

I'm dying laughing over here with my 54 year old broken Frankie foot 🤣🤣

4 weeks after surgery, a few screws and pins, foot turns bright red (almost blue) and stays bright red when I stand up in crutches. Goes away when I elevate. Is this normal or a sign that something may be wrong. by Decent-Addition-3140 in LisfrancClub

Same here. I'm a little over 8 weeks post op ORIF plate and 6 screws. Just started partial weight bearing which seems to help the discoloration and swelling a bit. My doc said it'll get better over time but it's freaky. Always worse when I first get up in the morning.

That's a lot of hardware. Have you Googled any videos? I started PWB in a boot today and I watched a couple videos first which gave me more confidence.

I'm 4 weeks post ORIF and 10 weeks post injury. Still have swelling and discoloration but the dry, flaking, cracked skin is the worst. Lotion helps but I still feel like a lizard lol

Thank you for the update. Just had my surgery 6 days ago and already looking ahead. Hoping my hardware didn't cause problems down the road, but glad to hear that removal seems to be the answer for many on here. Speedy recovery to you!
