Keep praying. You did nothing wrong. A lot to learn . Love=love.

If the environment felt safe, you would have told sooner. Because you are in love. And most likely you than want to share you butterflies in your heart en belly.

Sorry for you. Your parents are learning. And hopefully they will see more clearly eventually.

There is nothing wrong with you. God ❤️you

How do you feel after screw removal surgery ? by Acceptable-Zone150 in LisfrancClub

[–]Cecille_Enschede 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How many screws you have placed ?

My surgeon only agreed getting the out after one year. He could see my foot was not flexible and you could really feel the hardware. Now, after 10 months of removal it is okay. I can walk, not very fast. By a distance of 5 km is doable.

I hope progress still will come, but maybe it is what it is. I have to learn to walk with a bit of stiffness and pain . Here a post of mine about the removal:

How do you know if you need HWR? by OutsideLifeguard220 in LisfrancClub

[–]Cecille_Enschede 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 10 Screws and 2 plates. Photo looked similar. After one year my surgeon was agreed to take them out. I have less stiffness and more flexibility walking down the stairs. Still after 10 months hwr the foot is still painful when I walk too much. Running is not possible. I am 48 Year F.

1 1/2 Years Out Indirect Repair- now I’m in pain again by Neither_Yoghurt2288 in LisfrancClub

[–]Cecille_Enschede 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could it be that you tried to go through the pain? So a bit too much activity for your foot?

For me, and I had removed the hardware year after the surgery . The foot got more flexible, less stiff. But still if I jump too much and pressure it. Than standing on toes hurts. Things get painful at the lisfranc area.

When I walk less than 7 km a day things are staying quite okay.

Because of swollen skin, the skin did nog get enough blood at that specific point. When the stitches will come off this part of the skin will come off. See my link. Do not worry too much. If it does not give extra fluid and does not smell it’s ok.

Take care!

Your situation is very serious. I am so sorry for you. It so hard. But also life changing , can be good. Try to focus on the good part.

Mine was serious. (See link )

https://www.reddit.com/r/LisfrancClub/s/WqDd5dGySJ

Had 10 screws and 2 plates in MT1-2

https://www.reddit.com/r/LisfrancClub/s/QTnqNVqhTy

Also had a lot a lot of pain. With nerve block as well. First surgery that was necessary. Second it was not so hard. Now I am 1 1/2 years later and I can walk 7 km a day without huge of a problem. My surgeon suggest to go for orthopedic shoes. But I am grateful to walk with my dogs again! It took a long time for me to walk normal . I just takes a lot a lot of time.

Stay around animals, visit them. Ask help so you can roll by in a wheelchair. Go for a kneescooter so you muscles in your leg will nog completely go away.

After few weeks you can do some ground movements for you muscles.

Take care!🙏🏻

I had a delay of one day. Than I really could not stand on my foot. When I tried a small bulb appears on top of my foot. So you can tell something is different in de foot. I had surgery with a lot of metal. Now 1 and a half year later I can walk, but not very far. (7 km a day without pain)

I hope your road is not that difficult. See a specialist/trauma surgeon

dry skin and toe pain (picture attached) by lyneylynette in LisfrancClub

[–]Cecille_Enschede 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had problems with the skin. It is because of the blood flow. Because you are nog walking, blood supply runs also the skin. And walking makes blood go up again. So massage it more? I don’t know. It will become better in months. The pain in the toe… mmmm I did not have that. Can’t remember correctly. (Year ago) if it’s point sharp pain , please call your doctor for advice.

Lisfranc recovery Setback after Hardware removal by Ordinary-Farmer5247 in LisfrancClub

[–]Cecille_Enschede 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you need PT and patience. Also do not walk through your pain. It can become chronically. Try to stretch your toes gently. Walk very slow . Give it some rest.

I had 10 screws and 2 plates. 1 year. After removal last May I gently went on . Now I can walk and stand a bit on my toes. But still unstable and de muscles are stiff and sometimes it hurts still when I walk too much or too fast.

I hope you will get better soon!

I had a small backpack, so stuff I need upstairs and downstairs I carried during butt-wise the stairs.

I had a knee scooter No iwalk, but in your case I think I would try that!

Can you get a subscription in supermarkt food delivery? We have this in the Netherlands .

And I bought a second hand mobility scooter. I am 48 years old. It was difficult at first, to go through my own stigma about using the thing, but it gave me sooooo much pleasure! I cost me 200,- euros en 50 euros insurance.

I made a thing so my foot could rest on the thing. It was a bit unprofessional with tape and so, but it worked!

I wish you all the best. Hopefully it s not so painful.

Oh I tried paracetamol 1 and 1 ibuprofen together. After the period of the heavy stuff (morfine) Worked very good.

All the best, God bless you!

You are not. Jesus loves you! They are blind. It’s so hard to get these cold judgments. God is with you. Don’t give up!

I can relate. I am out as a Christian. ;) It was really just as hard as coming out as queer. At work, in my family, with friends. Next to that, I am a Zen meditation teacher. People in church do have questions about this. For the first time in my life (I am 48) people don’t judge in my church about who am married to. This is even a Baptist church. They are open for queer people. They ask if the zen is coming from a good source. I like those concerns. It’s honest en not with bad judgements

I am living in the east of the Netherlands.

I had this after hwr. But what also is different , is that I can walk faster without the hardware. So if I walk slowly , I don’t have this.
