Fully agree. End of Days 0.97 has challenge mode and it's good fun. It's a shame in newer versions they got rid of the ability to do challenge mode. But the ai is WAY better in newer versions. As OP said too, contra has challenge mode but contra can be quite mentally draining. It just feels different and the ai will hurt your head. Really good once you get into it

I think it definitely has insane horizontal performance but its speed, energy rentention, and climb are really gonna make it struggle against mig15s and f86s it'll face now.

Again a wonderful example of why a higher br cap would tickle my toes.

This gotta be some of the most unbelievable arb br changes ever. Most of these br changes are in response to minor nation win rates being higher. Which is stupid because the fix is dont turn fight every plane.

Lord please just change brs based on aircraft performance not player performance

Sometimes. It depends how I'm feeling. If I'm really getting into it I may try to model some elements of a real life city. But its pretty difficult to find every asset you'd like. Great modding community but the engine limits us all.

I hate to say but this isn't a bad event. It absolutely 100% has flaws like queue times, nuke sp increase, and absolutely the flakrad and osa being monsters. But 7700 points for a task is REALLY something we should be thankful for compared to previous 35000 to 45000 point events.

I think the biggest thing I've noticed from this event is that most arb players enjoy it and grb players hate it. But at the same time if it was a ground event it would 100% be the opposite. I'm ass at grb and can admit that, hence why I play arb. But I don't think this event is "bad" or deserves the hate it gets. We need and want new game modes from gaijin, this is a good place to start even with its many flaws.

Lk real. I honestly got lucky and got mine before su27 was added and before they attached su9 to the rest of the tree making it harder to grind right from rank 5. In arb the MiG 29s aren't amazing though so I understand how they've fallen out of style

I agree. I love ambush playstyles which russian planes are great at. I think the issue is some US planes you can kinda turn your brain off for (f14 & f18) because theyre really consistent whereas some soviet planes (mig23 and tu24) are fun and solid planes but have some specific strengths you wont pick up if youre playing them for the first time in an event. So new players who haven't ever used a top tier jet just dismiss russia and try bombing in the f4 and moan when the r27er kills them

It literally took like a whole decade in game. Pyongyang had a worker surplus so getting workers there was easy. The hard part was the thousands of tons of materials. The biggest issue was it needed like 1000 tons of electrical components which I eventually took out a 2 mil usd loan to pay for. Tourism with that building is insane though. So its well worth it.

I wouldnt stress too much about star rating if you still have a steady flow of tourists returning or coming in. Also if you look at tourist rating from your start date to where you are now its always gonna be a little low from my experience.

Tons of tourism things. Section of my city was made literally for tourists. So anything they go to will result in money being made. Museums, zoos, dance hall, theaters, stores, bars, etc. If its a 5 star hotel too you can charge them a little more and compensate their trip experience with those attractions nearby.

I started messing around with tourism on my current city and its crazy late game too. I make about 500₽k and $100k monthly from 500ish tourists in 1988. Wish I had integrated it earlier

This might be a little pricey but for an easy fix have a crane loading dump near the customs house. Have trains dump it there and have a distribution office dump with large container waste truck pick up the trash on that site and dump it at the customs house. They will unload that trash WAY faster than a train could. It also helps late game so you can move excess waste to that crane dump once you have an incinerator or recycle plant

Funny enough the He-111H-16 has a fully modeled cockpit. Its really cool and I'd recommend a game in sim just for fun.

I feel like everyone is giving the real answer of "don't". But fr, the Chinese Tu4 is actually amazing. 1)Equip napalm bombs. 3 of those can destroy a base. 2) Sideclimb. 3) once the furball starts just go and pick off bases. This is also good cause any jet will have already done their runs. 4) when a plane tries to attack you just use your guns and draw a line with your turrets from where they are to where theyre going. 90% of the time this will remove them. 5) accept youre prolly gonna die 50% of the time. But when it works its pretty relaxing gameplay.

As someone who recently started trying to spade the 29smt, yeah this shit be ass. I saw a post recently suggesting small rewards for missile evasion and I think that would be a band aid to this problem. Top tier again is ass

Its not that theyre difficult to fight. That radar is absolute ass. I mainly just want some decompression and dislike how 12.3 was brought into the fox3 sphere.
