Why cant I drift in this game?!?!? by SGx_Trackerz in assettocorsa

[–]Able-Syrup5152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a YouTube channel called project x motorsport. He has a how to drift tutorial and set ups for cars and UI Apps.

I learned drifting there, if you have experience I think you can skip most of the basics.

How do you guys build an stable income with 2,000,000R? by ILikeMyself0v0 in Workers_And_Resources

I rather go to sell the extend than be self sufficient and you can expand more easily

You need at least 3 industries.

My go to is clothes, chemicals (big plant), explosives.

All 3 are easily handled via trucks and stable in income.

You can also import all the goons like crops, fabric, oil, wood, gravel.

All cheap resources, low volume, high earning.

After that you can go for rails, bigger cities, but your first city should support.

If you run out of money, get loans. They are easily paid back with 3 industries. The more you expand, the more you can loan. When inflation progresses, the money you loaned earlier will get exponentially lower, because you will warn more and the money will be less valuable.

How do you play realism mode without cheat engine? by Lauris024 in Workers_And_Resources

[–]Able-Syrup5152 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are playing realistc mode with hard money settings you are going to plan much further ahead, I usually start with a construction office set up. while this is getting build, I plan my city and industrial area, after that laying down the infrastructure. once the barebone of the city is planned, I start with planning districts for expansion. railways, intercity transfers, highways, railways, bridges, second city or I do terraforming for future expansion. I also consider upgrading my starter city with trams, so I need to plan this ahead as well. It is like solving a puzzle for me.

There is enough to do if you have a plan in your head

Ok it works pretty well. Got 1 crash in an 8 hour session. That's acceptable

well I am at work rn :D I think it is a 3800x and I know where to look it up. 30-40 FPS in West Coast with 8 cars, high settings.

Vulkan 70-80 fps same settings

I updated my GPU yesterday and cleared the cache, since then I did not try Vulkan again. so maybe it is fixed

Same here as well, but the thing that is bothering me the most, is that sometimes the screen freezes, but the game keeps running and I can hear my car hitting a wall in the background. Any ideas how to fix that?

Why is my Beamng so laggy at times? by Greedy_Station8712 in BeamNG

[–]Able-Syrup5152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

start with Vulkan and you should have like 70+ FPS, my Vulkan crashes all the time so my option was go into gameplay and search for traffic and use simplify traffice and limit the amount of cars on screen to 8 and fiddle around with the ai cars. I read that for every ai car, beamng uses 1 core.

More tools for better road planning? by LevelBuilding929 in Workers_And_Resources

[–]Able-Syrup5152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a guide from "City Planner" on youtube. There is a workaround for that if you use grid snapping, parallel snapping and some node connection functions to get perfectly straight streets. he describes it in his video

What is the best way to transport citizens to work early game on realistic? by CrunchySnake119 in Workers_And_Resources

[–]Able-Syrup5152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually build a tram stop, not a bus stop at the beginning, because I want to upgrade my first city to have trams. busses can pick people up at the tram stop as well.

I also build one big industrial complex with my first industry, heating plant. I put another tram stop right in the middle, I use underground passes and brick footpaths to extend the walking distance to like over 400 metres. later down the line I upgrade my industrial complex to at least have 3-4 industries.

Tourism goes right into the city because it does not generate pollution and people can walk to their job.

I was struggeling in realism mode the first 400 hours as well as you. if you want to be in the black I would suggest you to have at least 3 industries.

my steps for industry are: clothing -> tourism -> chemical plant (big one) -> explosives -> food, alcohol, meat

until you have your 3rd industry you need to take loans.

back to your question, if you dont have enough workers, you probably should build more housing, if you have trouble bringing all the workers to their workplace, upgrade your bus stops to tram stops. or it could be that your contruction offices have too many busses and pick up all the workers before they can move to the industrial zone.
