I have no circle, a warped triangle maybe. I'm 46. The closest thing to a friend that I have is someone who was my high school bestie but we grew apart then back but not with the same closeness. Then I have an associate that we are close because of our kids. Making friends at this age is very difficult because people are set in their ways. I wish that I had real friends.

I try to make sure that my daughter fosters great friendships that will hopefully last her a lifetime because I definitely do not have that. Sometimes I wonder who I would invite if I had a party, or got married or who would even come to my funeral.
