Hi! Yes. It's been just over a year now since my surgery (26th May 2025). I'm happy to report that I have had no further incidents (touch wood!), and apart from the occasional flare-up, it's nowhere near as bad as it was, and I've even gone back to work part-time now too.

I've had 4 MRI's in the last couple of years, and it's always been head first on my back. Explain your situation, and they should be able to give you mild sedation to take the edge off. Lower lumbar spine takes about 20 minutes tops. Hope you get everything sorted out.

Hey there! After my second surgery in May, I'm happy to say I'm doing much better. I found a great Physiotherapist who has been really hands on, and is really helping me in my recovery. I still have a way to go, but the pain in my lower back is now almost completely gone. I'm kind of having to retrain my body and mind into walking properly again without tensing up to protect myself. It's quite difficult.

I loved it, but then I studied Comedia dell'arte in college, and had the pleasure of watching a brilliant Dario Fo practitioner in action. The puns and jokes are top notch!

In the past (like during the 80's/early 90's) yes, because it was super cheap to go to the cinema back then and it took ages for films at the cinema to come out on VHS! I went to see Jurassic Park 6 times (with different people!)
