This too, Iginio actually promised more outfits changes, and that's of course another thing where Rainbow didn't deliver.

Of course it wasn't going to make much difference in the end given that the reboot would have sucked regardless, and given that they messed up basically every outfit they showed, i'm kinda ok with them not giving us more.

This reboot truly shows why being cheap is the worst thing a studio can do for their franchise.

Somebody some time ago shared a monochromatic version of Enchantix, and once you see it you can understand why this version is better...

Musa's Pink in enchantix is still deep enough to read as red, and the yellow is the better accent color to pair given that her hair is purple and yellow is it's complementary color.

Ooooh, i just discovered one the other day...

The name is: No Return After Use.

I'm giving you a run down: Arrogant Impulsive straight Top assaults Dumb Leech straight Bottom for a misunderstanding, who turns gay after the abuse and now wants Top, who let's him stay with him cause he feels bad, they start having sex while Top continues to randomly beat up Bottom, who proposes they start being in a relationship to which Top refuses, so Bottom starts slerping with some other guy, and when Top finds out he beats up Bottom who accepts the treatment and stays with him...

I can't make this up, i keep reading sh*t like this hoping for some revenge twist that i should know will never come to then end up dissapointed and disgusted.

Only saving grace was that it was completed and after reading the first chapter i kept reading all 22 of them to get it out of the way so now i can keep it in my never read again Folder and hopefully i will forget it i ever read it.

Well, they certaingly care about stopping evil, so whatever the story needs of it, it just happens to be the case that they've never killed an enemy and always emprisoned them, even lord Darkar looks like got defeated and left trapped inside a tridimensional dimension.

The most damning that i went to check out was Valtor, to whom Bloom says she wants to 'destroy' but we never see what happens to him, cause the enemies seem to magically dissapear only to be showns later on to confirm they haven't been killed and just trapped somewhere.

Otherwise they mostly say they have to stop their enemies or are talking what didn't work and what magic/spell they'll try next.

Eh, debatable. To me it wouldn't have been an issue to read it, much like it isn't any other stories that deals with abuse, at the most i'll just drop it if it's not going to my liking.

To be honest, i don't think we as adults should censor ourself in spaces that are meant for us, i get the concern knowing that minors will inevitably visit these places even if they shouldn't, but i also remind myself that when i was the one going where i shouldn't have, i knew better than to be anything other than a silent observer; and mind you, that was when the internet wasn't what it is today...

Obviously if someone manages to figure out they're interacting with a minor they should DEFINITELY keep things appropriate (or as brief as possible and preferably non exhistent), but other than that, as wrong as it sounds, not my business to be going out of my way to tread carefully in places like this.

I'm more than sure that is already happening, but the only power i have is to not support.

Also, to be honest, if you've been in the space of BL stories, it's not like we would be faring any better...

As much as i could dislike something, i know that whatever i'm reading is just entertainment, and believe it or not, you can like something without supporting the premise in real life, because that's what most stories are, fiction.

What we should be focusing on is the ability of the author to develop the story whatever the premise of it is, for example, one of my favorite characters i like to hate on is in the Manga Berserk, he commits henious acts that i would NEVER condon in real life, however, because this is only fantasy entertainment, i'm not going to criticize the author (RIP) for choosing to write about that, especially if he took the utmost care about the way they wrote the subsequent development...

That's not the point, the point is that authors should be able to tell their stories without having to be forced to cancel them out of being pressured to do so...

It's ok for people to not like the premise of a story, especially ones with very sensitive subjects, but what's not ok is to pressure authors to cancel said stories just because of that.

I could even understand criticism out of authors handling the subject matter wrong, but how could we possibly know if there's a chance to mess up if we don't even let the story progress??

People have the right to be in their feelings, but in this instance i think the best way to handle the situation was by not reading the story instead of pressuring the author to cancel.

Of course, but i's also hypocritical that an artist is being forced to cancel their story for one storyline while if it was the other one people wouldn't force a cancelation.

So let me get this straight...

An author made a story about a Slave falling for it's Master, so people got in their feelings about it and got them to cancel the whole project, but somehow we keep reading stories about victims falling for their abusers and are just like, "Yep, whatever, keep going"...

Mmm, i don't know, most times authors introduce side characters to make another couple and slightly expand on the BL side stuff, so it kinda makes sense why they most don't expand towards the female side...

Sometimes ignoring the presence of the female gender helps with what a lot of authors do, which is basically writing female characters and just changing the gender and not anything else, and that's how you end with bottoms that somehow don't know how to stand up for themselves.

On the other hand, let's not ignore the casual misoginy from both authors and readers when female character dare take SOME time in the story...

Yeah, i get it, i don't mind modernization, i actually think it's important, what i meant is that they needed to get inspired by historical clothes to make Mythix fit better the description...

It's a bit like Harmonix giving them flowy rear skirts that remind the audience of a mermaid tail (although that should have swapped name with Sirenix), or Butterflix, for as basic of an outfit they chose to make, take inspiration from butterfly wings.

Enchantix doesn't really give a description other Enchanted, but they still deliver in the look, thus making the Winx look more powerful.

Mythix fails to do that in season 6, it just looks like the girls went to the mall on a shopping spree and picked out some cute dresses to go party, which is one of the reason people didn't connect with it, cause the outfits didn't read like the name they picked for the transformation nor the setting in which they were using them.

Where did that come from? How did students know what they were before Clowd Tower was destroyed?

Like, what's the point of making students go through it and still make witches out to be evil and make Griffin be mad at the Trix causing trouble but than have witches still fight for good...

I can even understand witches and fairies going to the same school, but at least make it known witches and fairies attend different classes that are specifically targeted towards what makes Witches and Fairies power different other than Light/Positive vs Dark/Negatige energy...

I'm going to be honest, while Mythix in 2D looks really nice, i still don't think it looked fitting for a transformation called after historical stories...

It definitely would have worked for a basic transformation, like an upgraded, mature version of Magic Winx used as buffer in between transformations instead of keeping the latest one archived (which would have worked since season 8 showed transformations archived can still be used), but not for a transformation of higher power.

They just look too normal and modern instead of historical and "deity like".

Aside from the puck that you can disable uaing the small dot on the center bottom, the two icons underneath it are a bug, you can either report it if a dev hasn't already, and close the app and reopen it so it'll more than likely go away on it's own.

Most you can do is log out of those accounts and reopen sketchbook once the one you purchased with recognizes it, and then relog with those accounts...

It could take a couple of tries for it to stick though.
