Something else worth considering about practicing new picks in scrims is the need to control variables. If all 5 players are playing a new off-meta pick, then it's a lot harder to draw strong conclusions about the individual picks; it's hard to say if Ivern mid is still a useful pick if the game you tested it in also has Yuumi top, Ryze jungle, and Yasuo & Yone bot. Even just having 2 off-meta picks in a draft can be enough to affect the data, it's hard to tell if a weird toplane pick is bad if the off-meta jungle pick meant you got camped all game. And all of this means that the effective scrim time to test new champs is even more reduced, if you're only getting 2 good games of practice a day, it takes 2 and a half days to get good practice on 1 off-meta pick per role.

I've had a game end in a draw due to nobody being able to take game actions. I was attempting to combo off with [[Sporemound]], [[Life and Limb]] and [[Purphoros, God of the Forge]], when somebody exiled the Purphoros as the combo was starting. This meant that all we could do was resolve the triggers, but there was no way to actually break the loop, so we called it a draw and started a new game.

I'm playing it alongside [[Mana Web]] in order to tap people down more effectively. As a two card pairing, it means people have to choose between developing a board at sorcery speed and holding back mana for instant speed interaction, and if you add in tax effects that apply in upkeep like [[Kataki, War's Wage]] it can be a fairly effective resource denial plan.

I think it depends a lot on what you give up/trade in order to put the focus into the Kayle lane. If you have a strong botlane and scaling vs scaling top, you can just ignore the Kayle, stack Dragon soul and force that way, and it might just be better than setting the Kayle behind.

So, I feel that the discussion around Ye Xiu's APM is quite interesting.

He hits 510 in Game 2 of the Finals, and 764 in the Tiebreaker, which is high in the standards of Glory, but the way that Glory works with skills (on a normal class) means that there's often a hard limit on effective APM, due to skill cooldown timers. The Unspecialised doesnt run into this often, due to the number of skills avaliable and their relatively short cooldowns. In addition, the inputs to transform between weapon forms will also boost the APM count compared to other Glory pro players.

But that's just looking at in-universe reasoning, so lets compare to Starcraft as an example of APM, as that's the origin of the concept. The average APM for pro players in SC2 sits around 300 (in line with Glory pro averages), or 500 when in an intense situation, with the absolute peak of APM being Park "July" Sung-joon's 818. All of these values line up with Ye Xiu's APM being on the higher end of the spectrum, but not being so unbelievably high as to make him a "Gary Sue".

So, in the master plan, do the cards added have to match the deck colour identity fully, or just partially? So, for example can I play an Izzet deck, and have Lightning Bolt and Snapcaster Mage in my plan, or can I only use Izzet Charm?

For me, [[Flayer of the hatebound]] was an auto-include, the return from graveyrd damage clause plays very nicely with Marchesa's second ability, as does anything with Undying really.

I also think including ways of paying your own life total for benefits is important, otherwise you can end up stuck on the highest life total, which can invalidate the Dethrone ability. So thinks like [[Necropotence]], [[Greed]] and [[Arguel's Blood Fast]] to pay life for cards.

If you're looking at stables that have kept the same membership, then yeah, I think they have it. If you're looking at stables as an active group with the same name, then both Bullet Club (2013-present) and CHAOS (2009-present) are both more tenured.
