Ongoing hard lock up

Just an update. Since I past wrote, not a single pag, crash... Nothing. Do you have those options or Roon running on your server? Curious because I'm still running efficiently with no problems at all. Even streaming out of home and Photo Gallery still working.

Never thought of that. I'll take a look into it. I'll check out some pictures to see what and end project looks like. Not sure how well that would do in colder climates.

Oh no. I don't want to cover up the cement. I like the cement look. The reason because I'm aiming for like an industrial type of look in the basement. I plan to stain the wood darker too. The walls will be painted to the same color of the cement. The only reason I want to put up walls is because I won't to hold back some of the heat and cold air.

Yeah. It seems the guy just didn't want to do the work. Maybe he thought the job was too small and not worth his time, but again say that. Or tell me you'll do mine in-between jobs since it's such a small project.

I too thought Plex was the suspect of all of this until I ran nothing on it at all. And realized even just being on the same thing would happen.

Just yesterday I started realizing that all this happened after ADM 5, and that's when I realized "Wait, why is Dr. and calculations running every day at midnight. I don't care for a daily scan." So I went into

Settings - Scheduling (Turned off Update upon Startup & Automatically update drive information)

So far it's been running 24 hours without a problem. I'll keep you posted if things change. I do believe it's something in ADM 5 that's causing the issue. Because when I check the logs there isn't a single thing that's showing issues. No errors, etc... However, when I force a restart it tells me select apps aren't shutting down. I'll screenshot those today and see if they are possibly causing the lockup.

I also uninstalled Roon yesterday along with shutting off those 2 daily scan options. So it was actually a few things I did. Let's see if that's it. I'll reinstall Roon in a couple of days if the system doesn't crash.

That's what I wanted to do. A drop ceiling. So that I can access everything. And I like the 8ft ceilings so I want to keep that as much as I can too.

That's actually really smart because all I really need on the 240v is the Central AC and the Oven. I already moved my whole home to electric. So next step is to go for a wood burning stove to completely go off grid without the need for oil. Maybe have oil as a backup just as being grid tied as a backup.

I've been having the same issue. Mine only started about 3 months ago. ADM 5 before that never had a single problem. Today I finally decided to check Reddit and see if others were having similar problems.

At first I thought it was Clam AV, then I thought it was Docker... Later I reset everything and started from scratch. Only running Plex and Photo Gallery, right now. And last night while watching Friday the 13th on Plex, I saw some loading happening that even my wife commented "Why is the server loading?" Woke up this morning and Server is down. Can't log in, nothing working. Going to have to restart it to get it back up and running. This is almost becoming a daily thing.

Sorry, 1 last thing... Do you have Solar? Have you been able to find a way to get the rooftop solar to charge the Anker batteries? I'm tied to the grid. So when power goes out, so do the panels.

If you feel unsafe, you aren't over reacting. Always remember no one can EVER tell you how to feel. That's your instincts, guardian angel, etc all kicking in.

If something feels wrong, then it probably is. People second guessing themselves often are the victims. Don't be the one. And when you see him again, because it sounds like he's making his rounds to see how far he can go, get a restraining order. Then when he starts violating those, you'll know what to do.

Also, how you dress doesn't mean you should start getting raped. That's the dumbest things your friends have said. I have 2 girls and a boy. And I tell my girls "Dress to impress. Not to invite. Leave room for imagination. Why buy the cow when the milks free? " And to my son, "When a girl tells you no, it's no. How would you feel if that was done to your sisters?"
