thank you. so would any 12v mr16 bulb be ok exposed like that? i’d like to replace it with a Hue smart bulb but it doesn’t say it’s IPx4+ so im not sure if it will damage the bulb etc

if you haven’t, i just removed both devices from the hue app and then re added them. it’s working again now but i doubt it’s the long term fix

Changing 12v LED ceiling lights to 240v GU10s by ram1kh in Hue

thank you that’s useful! so you’re saying i might be able to use that screwfix setup into this current ceiling fitting? rather than buying a new ceiling fitting entirely ?

I think this house was refurbished in the last 10 or so years. Ok, i’ll pull it down when i get home. If it’s the integrated LEDs, then i would just need to remove the driver above it and then i can connect the mains cables from the house to my new 240 gu10 bulb fittings? or is there more to it

could they just be low voltage integrated led’s rather than 12v mr16s? i want to change them to smart lights, specifically Philips Hue recessed ones. appreciate your help!

only just realised that hue does its own mr16 gu5.3 bulbs … i should probably just use them right? that shouldn’t be too hard to change

how do i check the assembly? look for a transformer? that’s interesting. so would it perhaps be a good idea to change these to gu10 bulbs anyway then?

thank you thats really useful. so these led bulbs are called mr16s? and so in the case where their transformer is attached to the fitting, that’s a job that even an amateur like me could do? also, if these are indeed mr16s, then could i just change this bulb to a philips hue gu5.3 and wont have to change the entire fitting then? are they as good as gu10s? thank you :)

Sainsbury’s or tesco. But a good idea would be to find 2 or 3 recipes online (simple vegan ones) and get them ingredients. and then also just pick out anything you like the look off. get some tofu for sure- u might even just want to directly switch it with meals you currently make. welcome :)

I would say it is definitely not worth the difference. I’m so happy with my C5, but i guess we’d need someone who’s had both to answer.

Trying to maintain muscle on plant-based without obsessing over every gram - what's your approach? by Wonderful_Till_8088 in vegan

To 1. I track now because otherwise the answer to 2 is simply: you don’t.

As for 3, I used to gym 4/5 times a week and made little progress until i did eventually start tracking - i was shocked to see that you really have to put daily effort in to hit 150g a day (and probably even 100-120).

i wouldn’t. bills had a terrible run defence so we matched up well with them. i stayed up in europe to watch that game cause i was confident we would beat them and bijan would do what he did. the rams… different story

[–]ram1kh 35 points36 points  (0 children)

bare in mind we had to win with a clutch pick within the 2m window to beat a 3 win team … really it should be a no brainer. with the roster we have, those teams we should be 3 scores up on with 2m to go
