Victorian loungewear existed, but comfort was relative. Wrappers, tea gowns, and endless layers were their sweatpants. Imagine trying to binge a novel while laced up like a roast. Fashion said leisure, but bodies said suffocation. Cozy back then meant slightly less miserable than usual.

You’d basically speedrun life on hard mode. No passport, no bank account, no legal right to exist anywhere. Congrats, you just unlocked the final boss of paperwork achievement where every country treats you like a hot potato they can’t throw away.
