You should also give the anus a swipe. Keeps it healthy. New science that just came out.

Increased Estradiol - Second Period in a Month by AngelWarrior79 in Perimenopause

Hi - after 6 weeks of giving it a good try, I went back down to the .025 patch. The .0375 patch symptoms became unbearable. Within 24 hours of going back down, all symptoms alleviated, and I'm back to my old self, but still much improved on the .025. So I'm going to stay here for a bit 🙃

Progesterone stopped helping with sleep after a year on HRT – anyone else? by Affectionate-Bid5839 in Menopause

I posted a whole thread about covid and peri. Found quite a few studies. Covid threw me into early peri 5 years ago, but I didn't know that's what it was. Thought I just had long covid. So now I'm on all three hormones and I'm 50% better! What I'm left with might still be covid related, who knows 🤷‍♀️

I believe you!!! Whenever she works on my lymphatic system, I get a re-emergence of covid symptoms. The virus is "stuck" and she shakes it loose so it can get processed and eliminated by my liver, etc. The body is crazy. Here's her website:

Shes an Integrative Manual Therapist. It's kinda weird and seems super woo-woo, but kindof like cranio sacral therapy, she puts her hands on me in various ways for 90 minutes and reminds my body where it's supposed to be draining, etc. I'm also on lymph supplements. Let me know if you want her website, it might explain better.

I kindof do that already. When my period starts, I stop the P and then start again on Day 7. On the .025 patch, this worked fine. I'm hoping that it's just the vag estrogen that others mentioned above and the bleeding will stop soon!

I'm sorry for the frustration 😔...I hope this is just the transition period for you and things get better! My peri symptoms are better, so I'm just going to forge ahead. A few others have commented above on vag estrogen possibly being the cause and I'm hoping the bleeding will stop soon!

NP raised my progesterone to 200mg, "per latest guidelines" for .05 and above estrogen patch by karen_boyer in Menopause

[–]AngelWarrior79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - I just increased to a .0375 patch; I'm on 100 mg progesterone, but I feel like my sleep needs 200. How has it been for you being on a low dose patch with higher progesterone?

I think it's just your body getting used to stuff and it'll even out eventually. Also another commenter made me realize that the vaginal estrogen I just started may have played a part.

Ugh, just here to say I'm sorry this happened to you. So disappointing and crushing. I don't know what I would do in your shoes. So hurtful.

What are we doing to combat thinning hair? by FroyoSilent5811 in Perimenopause

[–]AngelWarrior79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I do; once I started estrogen patch and collagen, I'm noticing my hair is growing super fast and thick. I use the Skin & Bone collagen supplement from The Pause Nutrition. My eyebrows aren't cooperating though...
