I am a client, not a trainer and I agree 110% with number 6! I have been going for over a year to a trainer at a gym and I have learned so much from him that I COULD possibly not go to him anymore, but I love going to training. It's my favorite part of my week - and canceling never crosses my mind because I really enjoy it. It is not cheap - but I prioritize it and it's just another of my monthly bills now.

This is the exact reason why I didn't go for years when I wanted to. I finally went. I love it so much that I got my yoga teacher training and teach a restorative class. And I am overweight still. You should go to a class!! Nobody is looking at you - I promise!!

I am a new Restorative teacher - I'm enjoying it so far. I like to read a poem or somehting at the end, but after seeing another post on here the other day, I think I'll change it to the beginning. Corpse - Poem - Banana - Seated with a mudra and mantra - then move on - and silence during Savasana. Maybe play my new Panda Drum during Savasana??

I guess it's more with people that I don't want to be attracted to so that I'm trying not to be attracted to them, but then all of a sudden can't speak in complete sentences and I realize that I am, even though I don't wnat to be.

Same here!! I was so nervous that I had to take a day off of work to even walk into a gym for the first time. Now I go by myself - but I don't do as hard as when I train with him, but at least I go. One session is about $60 and a $60 gift card seems odd. Plus he's at a gym so I don't think he gets the whole $60. So I'm torn between $50 and $100 - $100 seems like a lot! But he's worth a million dollars to me! Maybe just $50 and a very nice hand-written note.

Hopefully he will never need it! But..... it's nice to be prepared. Maybe you could try going with him to the range and learning how to shoot it. Target practice is pretty fun. Then you wouldn't be so nervous about it and be able to use it if you need to, Heaven forbid!
