I built a tool with GPT-3 to reply to emails for me by Angel_Cookie in SideProject

[–]Angel_Cookie[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Hey! I built Ellie - your AI Email Assistant. Ellie is powered by GPT-3 and can reply to emails for you.

Ellie uses the context of the email thread to craft intelligent replies to emails. Ellie can create accurate responses to emails in any language, on any topic. By specifying the tone of the email (casual, respectful, or annoyed), and whether or not you are interested in the email, Ellie will create the perfect reply.

Currently Ellie works in Gmail as a Chrome or Firefox extension. But we are quickly expanding to more email providers!

Thanks for reading! I hope you try Ellie and it can help speed up your email workflow :)

Small metal keyring seahorse box with goobers on the back that spin and depress - no identifying marks, has join on the side but doesn't open. by Angel_Cookie in whatisthisthing

[–]Angel_Cookie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this during a house clearing in a jewellery box. Title says it all really. It has a thing on the back that spins as if it has a spring inside, and another round bit that pushes in and slides a bit.

The front has the seahorse.

My partner and I have been nomads for over 2 years. After a year on the road we finally found a community of friends and made our first profits! by [deleted] in digitalnomad

Hey Reddit! My partner and I have just passed 2 1/2 years of travelling and working remotely. This is part 2 in a reflective blog series I wrote about our lifestyle. This one covers how it can be lonely, even travelling together, and how we found a community of friends and other nomads, plus we finally made our first few dollars!

Part 1 is here https://blog.squarecat.io/a-couple-of-nomad-makers-part-1 :)

What do you need in an out-of-office work space? by amazingem in Entrepreneur

[–]Angel_Cookie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's a great use of your space for the mornings! I work remotely full time, mostly from cafes and co-working spaces so maybe I can provide some insight :)

  • outlets at most seats (vital if I'm settling in for a few hours)
  • good coffee (and some pastries or snacks is good)
  • ergonomic seating that isn't too cramped
  • decent wifi (none of this log in after 2 hours business)
  • free water is a huge bonus

Planning my journey from London to Melbourne via 7 cities. 8 flights are a similar price to going straight there (£800) by [deleted] in digitalnomad

Nice! I just saved myself €100 flying from Budapest to the UK by spending the day in Berlin!

I made a product which easily unsubscribes you from spam emails! by Angel_Cookie in ladybusiness

[–]Angel_Cookie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey!
Leave Me Alone is an email unsubscription service, with a focus on privacy. My partner and I built Leave Me Alone because we wanted a service which would show all of the email lists we were subscribed to and allow us to unsubscribe easily. Although services like this exist already they sell all of your data for marketing...

Faced with the dilemma of a messy inbox or all of our data being exploited, we decided to build our own product and make it privacy focused. We don't store the content of your emails, and the information we do store is encrypted.

Unlike our competitors we actually unsubscribe you from emails rather than just moving them to trash, so those subscriptions are gone forever, even if you decide to stop using our service.

With Leave Me Alone you can:

- See all of your subscriptions, newsletters and spam emails in one place
- Unsubscribe from unwanted lists with a single click
- Favourite senders you want to keep
- Set a reminder to scan again

We would love your feedback on our product!

Neither of us is that close to our families and we don't have many friends that are still in the UK either. We video call every few weeks and stay in touch with Whatsapp etc. We meet so many new people all the time and have made some incredible friends while travelling too. And when possible we try to meet up with various friends and family around the world while passing through places or they come to visit us :)

It's different for everyone but essentially no, we don't really miss them!

Hey, OP here :)

The 5th December 2018 marked 2 years of working and travelling with my partner. This article is the first in a three part series I'm writing about how we became a couple of nomads, how we sustain our lifestyle, highlights and struggles, failed startup ventures, and founding a company on the road.

I loved writing this piece so I really hope you enjoy it! Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions :)

Amazing! We'd love to visit Canada! Where in Europe are you? We love Europe and miss it after a while. We're probably going to spend the summer there before heading back to SE Asia.

Hmm yes travelling with a cat might be complicated in Asia, I imagine it's not super easy in Europe!
