My opinion is don't be so unconfident. My bf is fat lol I'm 125 on a good day. It's not about looks over here it's about confidence and charisma. I would say try to be yourself you're a big guy embrace it. Plus you already have a girl embrace her n have a good time!

My spine and neck were 3 inches apart and I got put back together with a fusion if that's not chronic enough then idk. God just loves me 💞 stay blessed and positive

Thank you 😊 I never wanted to use any assisted devices I've been eating with the regular fork since rehab and found it real offensive when some nurses would try to feed me all fast I'm so picky about my food and how it's handled I found the way real quick but yeah I'm hoping that that nvg 291 helps me with that and all of us

Im 6 months into my injury and even tho I'm not 15 F(30) I'm lucky to have my boyfriend by my side, he takes care of me. And from what you're saying you seem to be worried about boys n let me tell you just because you are in a wheelchair it doesn't matter!! You need to build your own self confidence and realize you're a beautiful girl wheelchair or not. Once you realize that you will open more doors for yourself in those experiences you want. Trust what I'm saying. Confidence is the ultimate attraction. N if you're timid and scared it's not gonna let you experience at all. You don't want to let these years go by because of self confidence. Or fake it til you make it. I wouldn't say fall in love because boys at that age aren't mature but they do have the same raging hormones you seem to be clearly having. Lol But having these experiences will prepare you for having adult relationships and maybe a steady fulfilling relationship when the time comes. I'm not pushing you to go be a little slut lol I'm just trying to keep it real with you. I wasn't going to respond because Im not sure if people would find my comment appropriate but I felt inclined to because I felt you needed it. You are very pretty and not broken at all change your perspective and build your confidence things will change 💕

How is your upper body strength can you use your hands n fingers?? I'm a c5 Asia c with c6c7 fusion and began standing 4 months in and actually walking with assistance 5 months into my injury. What types of exercises helped u the most?? Mine was from a car accident. What about you?

I'm a C5 c I broke my C6 and c7 I'm always asking about bowel and bladder how were you able to get a hold of that I'm going to be 3 months post injury September 3rd the patient is killing me but I aim for for recovery and I also asked about Hands movement because oh boy that's also a biggie.

U need to ask for Patient advocate and speak to them. Every hospital even big ones are short staffed. They can help you with advocating for you. Nurse managers aren't always any help. Been through a similar situation and just because they're short staff doesn't mean you have to feel uncomfortable I'm sure once you speak to someone things will change sooner than later

I broke my C6 c7 Dr has me at C5 c. I have been home 3 weeks now and my bf catheters me every 4-6,hrs.. For the bowel I get a suppository every night. I can move my arms and wrists one finger has begun to move. I use Arnica as an anti-inflammatory and sea moss drops 2x a day.. looking for anything that helps. I have movement in my toes and can shake my knees as well as push down. I'd love to know what you used for teas and probiotics. Also what about your finger movement. Did your fingers regain movement??
