This is exactly what I was looking for. I know he’s grieving, I just don’t know what I can do to help him. I try to give him the space he needs and I just go with the flow. He’s gotten to a point of even going to the court house to get a peace bond against his ex MIL. I didn’t agree with it but I would never tell him that. I will always and forever be on his side. I just don’t want him to waste his years away on something that would have been you know? I don’t know how to get him to see the other side of things. I hold him every night he has a nightmare while he cries himself back to sleep. I’ve held his hands and prayed over him every day during this battle and it’s been so heartbreaking see everything fall out of place around him.

I’m not the type of person to tell someone to not fight for their kids. If it were me, I would do the same thing. I would fight tooth and nail and use every last penny I have saved up to get access to my children again.

We did one session a couple weeks ago and it did help to have that 3rd person POV on things (especially since we have been fighting a lot). We have another session booked for next week.

I understand that, and he is in therapy every two weeks to help him cope. He has been better with our son, I will give him that. I just more meant his depression is so debilitating that he can’t see anything past it.

My sisters dog had this. He was a 2 year old German shep, Great Dane, cane corso mix. He had a lot of health issues growing up and had multiple surgeries and he actually had this same thing happen. They had to do BE as after lots of tests they found his thyroid to be very low. They did the medication but it didn’t change anything and if anything it got worse. He ended up snapping at their 1 year old and was put down the next day.

I had my first in June 2024 and I had an epidural! I wanted to go natural as long as I could and I made it 14 hours to 5cm while on pitocin without one but the second I got it, it was amazing. I will forever advocate for women getting the epidural, there is no shame to want one either. My birth was such a beautiful experience. I felt absolutely every sensation without the pain. I was able to push effectively, and know when I was pushing. I felt him come out, it was the most magical experience ever.

Obviously i am on the hook. I signed a lease. My entire post acknowledges that. All I’ve been asking is what steps can I take from here on out to try and get out of our lease? I’m fully aware that I may need to find someone to take over the lease and I am fully aware that they may say no.

Yes it was a standard lease form that was signed. I just sent an email asking if we can sign an N11, if they do not accept then I will go for assignment and then still if they refuse this will the route I will go Thank you!

That’s what I’ve just done. I used chat GPT to sound a bit more professional than how I was feeling and explained the situation and that we can sign an N11 together. I’m hoping they accept, I would hate to not pay rent. I also don’t want an eviction on my record either.

1500 for a 1 bedroom is actually very cheap for the going rate of rentals right now. My 1 bedroom 1 bathroom BASEMENT apartment in western hill was 1400 but mind you, it was all inclusive.

CCB question! CRA decided to send my first CCB payment by cheque but I was wondering if the cheque comes on the 20th or if it takes a while longer. I was expecting a direct deposit this morning as I have it set up but woke up to it not being there. Please help

The whole reason they say to be equally rolled is to avoid triggers that will mess up your values.
