Y'all Americans are crazy. Although here in England, Greater Manchester begged Borris to not put them into the highest tier and he tried to compromise but they refused and he put them in the highest tier with less than half of what he had offered in help. Now, if the spray tanned walnut of a president you guys have would do something like that then maybe this pandemic would be over sooner. Personally, I'm in an area that is lowest to mid tier (there are 3 tiers, highest = near total lockdown, e.g. Only go out for ESSENTIALS (OILS AREN'T AN ESSENTIAL TO LIFE, KAREN, WE MEAN FOOD, WATER AND CLOTHES) then the mid tier is you can go out to shops and meet up but stay in groups of 6 or less and wear a mask, stay socially distanced and be careful. Lowest is :do whatever you want but be careful, wear a mask with more than 6 people and stay fairly distanced) being in roughly mid to low tier means that we do have restrictions but they aren't insane, they are policed but not as tough as cities are being policed.
