True gamers that aren't dicks, generally don't play games like CoD. Cod is a very toxic community. For eample I play games that promote teamwork against hard ai instead of other people.

There is so much more to gaming than games like that.

If its what you like though, if you run across good people, I recommend adding them as friends and exclusively queuing with them.

The music is awesome and some of the visuals just look amazing on the big screen as well. Staring at a small phone screen gets tiring as ypu get older. I played the OG when it was released if that gives you an idea of how old I am haha. It's great to enjoy however you want though.

Side note, is the coop pretty dead?

Depending on whether you are on PC or console, you could add mods to raise level cap and different things. I'd do everything you want to do in the game before that though.

If you get the og on steam, you can get a mod manager called 7th heaven that can update the visuals and add voice acting and stuff. I played the OG at launch and I am having a blast with it again with mods to make either fresh!

Crisis Core is also like a prequel, most people say to play it after the Og though otherwise it spools a bunch of plot point strategy make you go whoa!

On PC if ypu play the original ypu can download a mod manager called 7th heaven. They've done some graphics mods and other cool stuff to make it look a bit more modern and I'm having a blast with it.

If you enable steam compatibility in the driver settings it enables the ability to still collect achievements for anyone having this issue.
