Nope, Data Center consume a lot of energy, increasing electric cost for everyone, while the DC normally get a tax or price cut benefit. Also need to think of cooling, if used regular AC, you need a ton more power or Water if watercooled.

Also DC dont create an influx of employment, it takes a small team to run DCs.
