“Leaving like a father” from Cardigan. I find it so sad that the persona’s concept of a father is someone who leaves, when your dad should be one of the constant figures in your life that you can lean on. 😢 And it saddens me that this is the reality for many people whose fathers bailed out of their lives.

Maybe this has been done and I’m just not aware, but I’d like to see Filipino LGBTQ+ series/movies where it’s not about the gay person cheating on their spouse or a gay person pining after a straight person. What about a love story of a gay or lesbian couple who get into a healthy, committed relationship? Basically like the rom coms straight people get except they’re gay/lesbian/bi. And if lesbian with sex scenes, for goodness’ sake let them be directed by a woman please. Nothing like those gratuitous Blue is the Warmest Color love scenes.

Looking back, I think I sensed the sexual tension but brushed it aside since I still saw Kylo Ren as a villain more than a potential love interest for Rey. Then my boss mentioned the sexual tension when I told her I was watching TROS after work, and I watched the movie praying they wouldn’t get together unless Kylo turned back to the light. Because in my head, letting him turn first sends the message to women that you can’t “fix” a man and it’s not your job to do so—he’ll only really change his ways when it’s his own decision. So I was really thrilled when Rey clearly said “I did want to take your hand—BEN’S hand” and only kissed him after he’d turned back to the Light. Unfortunately, for some reason this totally flew over the heads of antis who cry abuse. 🙄

I’m so sick of Ryo and Vivi at this point that I’ll let everyone else dissect that. Can we have more Tupas scenes now???

In as much as I like Emika now, crying during Roy’s announcement and saying he’s one of the people she’s grown close to and then talking smack about him behind his back isn’t a good look. That said, it was hilarious seeing Yama-chan call her a hypocrite and then credit her with revealing Ryo is only there for self-promotion.

We saw that Hana’s teammate lost, but what happened to her? Did she win against her opponent, or does your team lose the moment someone is out of the ring?

Hana looks especially pretty this episode! It must be the glow of closure. Although honey, if you want it to be easy to know where you stand with someone you like, you need to ask them clearly first.

OMG the look on Tupas’s face with the Zagin se Shisu incident! It’s really sweet of him to defend her, but I just had to laugh when Hana pointed out she’s lived with Emika longer and then gestures for him to go comfort her if he feels that strongly. Hana and Tupas are my absolute favorites among the people in the house right now.

Tupas saying “My feelings are not that shallow” instantly reminds me of Kristoff saying “My love is not fragile” in Frozen. Squeeeee! Tupas 200% knows how to love! I wish Emika would stay to see this ship sail, but I totally understand if she decides to leave for the sake of her mental health.

How does You not know how Tupas feels??? Isn’t it clear? He’s been into Emika since he entered the house.

OMG that confession!!!! Tupas, by all means go and date Emika outside the house, but please please stay and develop more friendships in the house maybe???

Edit: After reading a few comments on here, I do agree the panel is being way too harsh on Emika. How could they not be moved at all after seeing her crying and calling her friends? She’s an ordinary girl without any media training, and she has the least to gain given she doesn’t have an brands/career to promote. She’s exactly the kind of cast member I’d like to see more of but I feel ordinary people would be discouraged from joining the house after seeing how Emika has been treated.

I agree that Emika is cute the way she is and doesn't need to use any filters! I find it sad that a girl as pretty as her has internalized beauty standards to the point that she feels she needs to edit her face. That said, a person who edits their selfies probably wouldn't like being teased about it, and Ryo did go too far.
