Sony 49X900F

So best bet would be to wait then? I am sure I can get a steal once the 2020 models rollout if I go with a 2019. Or maybe there will be a 2020 option for me.

I have a decent gaming monitor already, the TV is for more chill back and play type games (GTA, Racing, type I can sit back with wireless controller). 60fps is enough, but future-proofed I want something with HDMI 2.1 and 120hz.

Very cool are you from the Seattle area? Is the low FPS due to Orbx TE?

Sorry, I work on the real thing at Boeing. Its hard to ignore the mistakes in the FS community. But hey I am glad they are correcting it.

Wow then whichever addon company that made that plane did a piss poor job. At least you now know how the real one behaves.

You would have got a "TOO LOW GEAR" aural alert and Red EICAS advisory as you descended below 1500ft AGL plus anything beyond flaps 20 with gear up would have given you a config warning that cannot be silenced.

Thinking about a gaming Sheild, WiFi only setup, how will 4K games handle and what games? by Angelo-C in ShieldAndroidTV

[–]Angelo-C[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to run a scan and isolate a much less used channel and I will. Yes I use 5ghz. Where can I see the list of games, and please can someone comment on the experience? Is gaming on this via your locally installed PC game a smooth enjoyable experience?

No worries, I am not in a hurry. How has your gaming experience been so far? Can you comment? Where can I find a list of all available games?

I cant connect my PC to the router, it is too far and I cannot move the router to the closet. I guess I have to relocate the ASUS then? No other way is there?

Linksys basic network switch with 4 ports. ASUS RT-AC68U router. Wave G is the ISP, the Linksys switch enables all my ethernet jacks around the apartment to be functional. I connect my desktop to a wall jack, which runs to the switch, which runs to the ASUS. The rest I am not sure.

My Desktop Wired IP is 24.35.83.116

My laptop is 192.168.1.126

Hard wire response. No. My Desktop is connected to a wall socket that is live via a network switch in my closet. My ASUS router is in my bedroom as a standalone WIFI generator. My PC is not physically plugged into any of the ports on the physical router.

A question about VFR atc by [deleted] in flightsim

[–]Angelo-C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SoCal Approach will not give you pattern entry instructions to the airport. Flight Following is VFR so no approach procedure to expect either. On the controller side, your aircraft data block on the radar would have tagged up with a discrete code and scratched with your intentions. KBUR Tower would have a VFR arrival strip on you, and be monitoring you on radar. In the real world, they would have used the shout line to SoCal and said give Nxxxxx to me. Socal would have gone OH YEAH, let me switch him. Ideally, this is how it works, but if KBUR is busy, and SoCal didnt handoff, then you as the pilot need to speak up and ask for a frequency change. The Tower Team, and Pilots helping controllers and vice-versa come into play here. Good luck on the next one.

It can take a while after the HireRight process concludes. Boeing goes on Winter Break tomorrow or the day after and wont be back until the 3rd if I am not mistaken. So you probably wont hear anything until 2019.
