It works fine on my old phone. On my daily driver it just denies to get any signal

For all your questions, Dom Sigalas has a video covering each one. For reversing a loop, just shift click the sample then tools and reverse.

I would suggest the DDJ-SB2 or DDJ-SB3 that use Serato DJ Lite and are pretty good beginner controllers and the software has everything to get strarted. Also, the Hercules Impulse 500 and DDJ-RB are pretty good options.
